Today is the day I leave.... We are all going out to eat breakfast. And it's currently 9am, and if I might add- it's too damn early. We are all going to spend the day together, like we have done for the past week, but today is special. I leave at 7pm, so it will be 9am Sunday in Sydney. Oh god damn, I'm going to be so jet lagged.
Once we were all ready for the day, we get to my favorite small cafe that I go to all the time, and we sit and eat, trying to figure out what the plan is, and what we are going to do today.
"How about we go on a picture walk, T? You love them, and this way, we'll have pictures to remember this day." Leo said happily, placing her hand on top of mine.
We all collectively said "I'm down" at the same time- it was WEIRD.
We got done eating and headed to my favorite place downtown. It's this gorgeous walkway where there is an archway that was based off of around the time the town was first founded. It's my favorite place here, because it's so old and rustic it's just amazing. We take a few pictures, and then head to lunch, and we just talk about anything and everything. Bringing up memories was the best. Everyone laughing so hard at the stories, we cried.
After we were done, we wandered off to the woods over by the creek. It was close to my house, and it is my second favorite place. It's nice and quiet, I'm also surrounded by all four elements, which makes me feel at somewhat peace- well except fire of course.
We didn't just spend an hour or 2 there though. We spent almost the whole day, just taking pictures, going swimming, and just having fun. This is the best way I could spend my last day in America.
Hours and hours later, we went home to change. They packed their bags. I already had mine packed. And we went to dinner. Of course, being extra, we went to a fancy restaurant in sweatpants and they gave us dirty looks but in that moment, there was nothing to bring us down. They all made cheers to me, each one tearing me apart.
"To my best friend-" Pisces started, only to be cut off with a loud, obnoxious cough. We all look to see Leo, batting her eyelashes. "Shut up, Leo. Anyway- Taurus, may you find the happiness I know you deserve. I will never leave, forget, or lose my love for you. You are the most best friend anyone could ask for. And I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm going to miss you like hell. See ya in the next life, sis." Pisces smiles through the tears, leaning over and kissing my forehead.
"T, when you moved here in middle school, and Leo introduced me to you, I knew from the start we were going to be the most amazing friends." Sage sniffles already, making me sigh. I knew this was going to be hard on her. "Going to prom was one of.. the best nights of my life. Especially because I got to spend it with my two best friends. Able to go to that park, after picking up McDonalds, and playing the play set like we were children all over again made that night all the more magical. I love you so much, Taurus. So much."
"SaaAAgEee!" I cried, in awe of her little toast. I hugged her tightly in my arms in adoration.
Scorpio then stood, raising his glass. "To the little raging bull!" Everyone at the table laughed, knowing it was indeed true. I sometimes let my anger get the best of me. Sometimes! "Although we haven't known each other as long, I'm privileged to have even known you for the time I have. The day we met is the day I will never forget. Before I moved here, I was surfing online, and found you. We messaged and became online friends. Never would I have ever thought we would meet face to face. But when I moved here, and you toured me around the school, I couldn't believe it. Especially since later at lunch, I made you laugh so hard, you snorted chocolate milk out of your nose!" Laughter once again erupted the table and I smiled to Scorpio. "Good luck in Australia, little bull."
