Fencing practice

You were in the "Designers room" as you liked to call it, with Evie and Doug. Since you designed the dresses and Evie made them you all were taking peoples money therefore becoming super rich. Oh before I forget Doug was also there, he was like your computer person plus Evie's boyfriend so yeah.

"What about peacock feathers I bet nobody is going to have those at cotillion!" Oh yes the one and only Chad was here getting his cape done. You chuckled while adding finishing touches to the bottom of the cape. He looked down at you with a displeased expression. "Chad when I look at you all I can think of is...king." He gasped. You started speaking. "Oh yeah and fake fur, fake fur says it all." You smiled, it was funny to see Chad think all to highly of himself. "Loud and clear." Doug replied.

Suddenly Jay dropped by. "Amphitheater in five!" He told Chad. "Oh hey (Y/N) want to hear my new pick up line?" "I have nothing better to do." "Ok here goes nothing." He went up to you, put his hands and your shoulder and stared straight into your eyes. "Are you from The Isle because you're my style." You burst out laughing. "Jay what that is so cringy!" "Next time warn me and how long did it take you to come up with that? 5 seconds!" You said. "Wow that hurts!" He said pretending to cry. "Yeah ok now get out I have to fix pretty boys dress." Chad scoffed. "It's a cape not a dress!" "Yeah whatever you say Chad."

Jay spoke up, "Ok see you at fencing practice?" He asked hopefully, you knew he wanted you to come to it which you were going to just not the way he expected. "Yeah see you there." "Yes ok!" After he left Chad decided to open his mouth. "Why did coach decide to make him captain instead of me I'm obviously better, king Chad though I do rather like that, you know who else would like that." "Who?" Evie asked. "Audrey." Oh boy. "She would," Evie replied. He started tearing up. "Chad let's go!" Jay said.

You all started laughing. "Not a lot of there there." "Someone's obviously having some trouble dealing with this break up with Audrey." Evie said. "Yeah no kidding," you replied. Doug did the math and came up with a large sum of money that you and Evie would have to split. "Dang that is a lot of money." "What are we gonna do with all of this?" Evie asked. Doug spoke up. "Well I think in the next few years you can buy that castle you always wanted that way you won't need a prince." "You're right I don't because I have you." You started talking, "Ok love birds I would like to invest in my art but in the meantime I gotta dash so see ya."

{Time skip}

You were in a spare uniform you borrowed from Thomas since he wasn't going to be at practice that day. "Come on boys let's go!" You heard Jay's voice say. "Carlos you're with me." He said. You were partnered with some scrawny kid who you could easily take down, you both were in your stance. "Salute, lower the point, en garde." You were fighting all of the guys in the group, you already took down your partner pretty quickly.

Jay was shouting directions while you already made it to the center. You were battling someone else because you already took Jay down. Nobody knew who the two people in the middle were and it was intriguing, their fighting style was very good but a little bit sloppy so that you could see the opening. Everyone on the sidelines was yelling trying to figure out who you guys were, and Jay was complimenting your form. You finally finished the battle by grabbing the sword from the persons hand and pointing your sword at their neck. You both took your helmets off reveling Lonnie as your opponent.

You smirked at her. "Nice job." "Same to you where did you learn how to fight like that?" She asked you. "I have my ways." It's Lonnie and (Y/N)!" Some of the girls on the balcony started cheering for you guys. "Not bad!" Jay told you and Lonnie. "Not bad? I just kicked your butt." You said smirking. "You should put us on the team!" Lonnie exclaimed . You weren't against the idea it would be fun.

"Hey what no no no no no we'll be the laughing stalk of the league and what's next we have girls playing tourney!" You glared at him making him gulp. "News flash Chad nobody asked you and plus there already is a girl playing tourney... me." You were now boiling with rage. "So?" Jay questioned. "So have you not read the rule book?" He totally ignored your comment. "Section 2 paragraph 3 11-4 . A team will be comprised of a team and 8 men."

"What that doesn't even remotely say anything about how a girl can't play." You replied. "Yeah and plus your down 2 men since Ben had to leave to do all that king stuff and Tommy is to busy helping his parents with their restaurant." "Exactly we're down a man!" "Chad do you want to have a broken nose?" You questioned. "Jay come on." Lonnie said. "I'm sorry coach trusts me." "Yeah coach trusts you to do what be a douchebag?" "I'm sorry I'm not going to stay captain if I don't follow the rule book." "If my mother thought that way she would have lost the war." Lonnie said. Chad scoffed, "Ok... rule book rule book."

Lonnie stopped you told her to go and that you would handle this. You turned around stomped up to Chad took the book out of his hands and ripped every page out of it. "Listen Chad I'm sure Audrey would just love to hear about your hate for women, I'll be sure to tell her when she gets back. Prepare for the breakup." You shoved him to the side. "Oh and remember I am making your cape so I can just as easily disassemble it and keep the money." He backed away from you while you walked away.

"Come on (N/N) I'm sorry." You were in the hallways now. "Jay when we were on the Isle remember what happened? If your strong we want you by our side girl or boy! We used to be the unbreakable duo that everybody feared now were just the person who designs dresses and the team captain we barely even talk anymore. It's not even just the fencing we don't hang out anymore you don't even know about how my art got in the art gallery. It just seems like everything is trying to tear us apart and we're letting it. I just.. i think you need to make up your mind of what you want and when you do come find me." You weren't a person who showed your feelings very much but you instantly regretted it, you looked at him and he looked down with sadness written all over his face you turned and walked away.

You wished you could go back to the Isle with everything the way it was before without the whole mom thing. Little did you know that would happen sooner than you thought
