new year, no time for excuses. 3 weeks have passed by since serenity's meeting with republic records & scooter. turns out serenity did get signed because she & scooter were able to prove that her dangerous woman would be worth the risk ! yes serenity ! she managed to get scooter to be both her agent & manager for her music career & photography career incase the music didn't work out but she really hoped it would.
republic records were blown away with the fact that serenity didn't need autotune, as she had the perfect look to be the next star & new face of republic records, if things went as planned. serenity kept things on the lowdown but the rockstars, cole, prettymuch & her parents knew but no word would go around social media just yet.
serenity's main focus this year is dropping her album — " dangerous woman " under the span 3 months by by april 20th, hopefully to drop her single before feburary 14th as the lyrics were approved perfect but just needed a studio version of the song & the photo cover.
the goal of the album was to release 14 songs, which she got inspired by trippie's number. + the deluxe version that the record label was shooting for. she had dangerous woman, i don't care, sometimes, touch it, greedy, forever boy, and leave me lonely all started.
serenity got to business and booked studio sessions with nicki minaj, future, lil wayne, and macy grace. all thanks to the record company but also given serenity's photography skills it gave her credit that future & lil wayne would be down to work with her. as they heard her sing while she was taking photos of them in the studio so when she messaged them if they would be interested, they said why not, they knew how hard it was to get their own careers up and running & knew she struggled with being taken serious.
although her big stress was dealing with finishing her lyrics, the company felt it was time to release dangerous woman as a single soon, since she had half of the album was in process, it would see if the rest would be worth it. serenity began to finalize & visualize what being a dangerous woman look like, she didn't just want to look hot but wanted to create a symbol for herself, which made her nervous because it could be taken as a joke.
serenity laughed to herself as she remembered growing up cole had playboy posters that he never hung up because the pink didn't match his room so serenity did and sand well the halloween incident of her not being confident enough to be a playboy bunny. however serenity knew that she didn't feel comofrtable enough that day but knowing damn well she should, and she could now, because look at how good her life has turned since the last 6 months.
she began to draw out her sketch and sent them to the design team to create a prototype of her bunny design, hoping to be a latex mask and not just an ear headband. the next week it arrived and with multiple tries to get it on her head, the latex one was the perfect fit.
