New Orleans, 2013
THE VERY NEXT DAY, KLAUS HAD ACTUALLY LEFT HIS ROOM. In the last month or two, he had usually stayed in his room as well as his art room. He barely left the compound. His trip to the bar from before was unusual of him. But, now, he was exploring the compound. Mainly for the memories and the other half was actually thinking the girl from before would appear. Yes, her last few appearences were very random but it seemed to be she knew what she was doing. She was visiting him when she pleased and she had the upper hand as of now. Him being alone was the bait while he was the hunter and she was the prey.He continued to look at the various books and trinkets that were left in his sibling's past rooms. Kol, the mishcievious one actually favored Hamilton and other legendary lierature works. Even Shakesphere, even if he did eat one or two of the original performers back in the day. Then, Rebekah had some of the best jewelry in her room. Her compulsion of the merchants back then worked like, well, a charm. She had some of the most expensive pearls and some of the shiniest diamonds as rings. Elijah's room had closets full of his old suits but oh of course, he had the elegant piano. He would play it everyday while also teaching Marcellus or, Marcel, the king of New Orleans. FInally, Klaus even visited his old room. He took residence in it before but it seemed like an antique altogether, now. It had all his old clothes and weapons. And, even old portraits of himself. He smirked at his own vinatge smirk that surely held the devil behind it.
"The original narcissist works way more than hybrid, don't you think?" the girl suddenly appeared behind him as he triumphantly swung his head back to see her raising an eyebrow at him. He softly chuckled as he now turned his whole body around.
"I'm only a narcissist if anyone's around"
"I am here, so narcissist alert. Wee woo, wee woo!" she lightly cheered to make some kind of sound.
Klaus chuckles at her joke and walks toward her to take a good look at her. She was the same as yesterday but her outfit was different. Instead, she wore a flanel top with navy-blue jeans to match her converse sneakers. He looked her up and down, not thinking much of the outfit compared to yesterday.
"Not as good as yesterday, love"
"The hell's that supposed to mean?"
"Yesterday, you seemed to put yourself on display with all that leather. I see today is your lazy day, hmm"
"You're not exactly impressing me with your closet" she chuckles as she quickly walks over to his old closet and begins to sort through his clothes. She noticed one particular outfit that screamed 'rich' but also certainly out of fashion. She held the suit over her own body and taunted him with it. "Really? No better way than to be rich?" she smirks and throws it upon the bed.
"It was in, back in the day, I'll have you know"
"Yeah, but it's 2013. This is definitely out of fashion" she laughs and looks around the room even more.
