"YOU NEVER SHUT YOUR BLOODY MOUTH, DO YOU?" a melodic yet sassy voice suddenly rang through the hybrid's ears. At first he simply ignored the random voice but he soon put his glass of bourbon down to actually contemplate whether or not he was hallucinating. He sprung from his seat at the bar's counter and rapidly swung his head around to find the source of the voice, hoping it wasn't actually a person. To his dismay, he saw a woman arrive right in front of him. He groaned and scanned her almost offended expression for any signs of her being an enemy. "I'm gonna take that as a no? Or a yes, since you are being so silent, now" she says with a chuckle, taking a seat on an abandoned seat. She smirks up at him, noticing his concerned face.

"Who are you?" he asks with visible hostility as she pours herself a bourbon.

"Take a wild guess"

"I said, Who are you?" he questions again with even more venom in his tone.

"And, I said, take a wild guess"

He groans at her sass and just returns to his drink, downing yet another glass.

"Am I hallucinating? Is this just some trick?"

"Well, what do you think?"

"I think I am becoming aggravated by some girl"

"Of course, you do. What you call annoyance, I call banter"

"Why are you even here? As you can see, it's quite empty and I can assure you, you do not want to be near me"

"I wanted a drink and I'm not so sure about that" she replies before downing a glass of the famous liquor. After the strong liquid passes slides down her throat, causing a burning sensation along the way, she glances over to Klaus. At the current moment, he seemed quite discheveled. He was obviously drunk while radiating bitterness and regret. That much was clear, to his dismay. To him, it was like he was appearing to be weak. Klaus Mikaelson never wanted to be weak. Ever.

"What?"

"Just looking around, y'know, using my eyes for once"

"Bloody hell" he curses with his thick accent.

In the passing moments of silence between the two, both had wondering why the other was here. Klaus Mikaelson may have gotten utterly drunk in the past for no reason but it was clear there was cause for it this time. As for the woman in his vicinity had possibly no reason to be at the famous bar. She was an unknown soul to him, one she was determined to strike conversation with. But, at the rate their banter was going, he would surely harm her in a drunken rage.

"What's wrong?"

"What?"

"Obviously, something is the matter"

"I don't need to tell you anything" he mutters before taking another sip of the alchohol.

"You do, your drinking your ass off for a reason" she says with concern as she attempts to take the glass away from his hand but he in turn, grips her wrist suddenly. She lets her eyes travel to his angered expression. It was crystal clear his patience was running out for her and she expected that. She looks up at him with an equally serious expression and in repsonse, he lets go of her harshly. He then gets up while taking his glass with him as he stands in the middle of the bar, thinking hard about momentous issues he was surely going to deal with. "You should get home, it's not--" she softly begins but Klaus turns back to interrupt her.

"You cannot tell me what I should do!"

"Yes, I can. You are piss poor drunk and you need to--"

"I am Klaus Mikaelson! You do not know what I need!" he screamed at her, not even daring to turn back now.

"I at least know that you are not some pathetic, weak--" she starts to yell back but before she can finish, he throws the glass of bourbon at her face. She dodges it in time but only by a matter of milliseconds. She breathes heavily, knowing she was lucky to be even able to dodge his manuever. He just stares at her serious expression before turning back to face the bar's doors. She scoffs at his actions, even though she expected even worse than that. "Too much bourbon for one immortal jackass"

And, with that, he left the bar to use his vampire speed to traverse to his large abode. He had heard the girl's last words before he left the bar and it just fueled his rage. Well, drunken rage. In truth, he seemed to be some weak and pathetic man who was drowning his sorrows in alchohol. Everyone knew that, but his own troubles granted it. It was understandable and quite frankly, no one blamed him. Even his own elder brother who had seen the worst of Klaus' tantrums and outbursts. Although, upon his return to their home, Elijah was not pleased to see his brother in such a state.

So, in that night, another argument broke out. Which turned into a full on fight. The fight resulted in the other creating several gashes and bloody marks on the other's body. They would soon heal and neither cared about them. In the end, Elijah snaps his neck swiftly, leaving him dead for the moment in the courtyard of the compound. He looks at his younger brother, not being able to even comprehend his pain to the worst extent. He then walks away from his brother's unconscious corpse to arrive at his own room at the compound.

|AUTHORS NOTE|

So, first chapter! I kinda did not know how to start this off really. Klaus is bitter and so damn drunk at rousseau's lmao. I am already loving her. I love my sassy yet cute characters. She will be confident as hell but is able to be such a precious bean when it comes down to it. I hope y'all will enjoy this and hope y'all are having a great day/night!
