"Identification." The receptionist says to Draven.
"Draven." He says into a microphone.
"Identification confirmed. Welcome, Draven." A female AI responds.
The two FBI buildings are all glass but built on explosion proof, bullet proof, and natural disaster proof structure and glass, making them the two safest buildings in New York.
Draven walks to the right of the desk and goes through security check. On the wall is a giant eagle and across its chest reads, FBI. Draven walks down a white, glass covered hallway, with a book in hand and a pen between his ear. He looks at his wrist and his holo-watch displays the time. He starts to walk faster as it is 12:27 and his class is at 12:30. Draven walks into his class at 12:33 and sets the book down on the podium in front of him. He walks to the glass board in the front of the class and grabs the E-pen from his ear and graces the tip of it along the board writing Agent Draven.
"Sorry I'm a few minutes late." He says turning to the class. "It's my first day doing this so please bare with me. So for start-"
"Where's Agent Lexie?" A male student asks.
"She's out on family emergency for the next month so I'll be her substitute."
"You're not as hot as her." Another male says.
"You're probably right, I've never met her. As I was-"
"How old are you?" A female asks.
"I'm twenty five." Draven replies.
"How can you teach us if you're so young? You're like my age 'lol'" She replies. Yes she really did say "Lol" in a sentence.
"I got the job when I was twenty."
"How?" The first male student asks.
"I'm fucking good at it." Draven replies. "As I was saying," he waves his hands for silence, "For starters I need to know where you've left off." He waits but no one answers. "So where'd you leave off?"
"Android negotiation is required now. It used to be humans and what to do for serial killers, but not anymore I guess." The female answers.
"No wonder he made me do this." Draven says to himself walking back to the podium. "Androids are complicated." Draven starts. "Anyone want to guess why androids become Mavericks?" He asks the class.
"What's a maverick?"
"Good question. A maverick is the term we use for androids who break from their programming and turn into sentient beings. The term maverick in itself means an unorthodox or self-minded person, or in this case, Android." Draven explains. "So any guesses why they become Mavericks?"
"To copy humans." A person shouts.
"Okay good guess." Draven says. He writes on the board, 'Guesses', and under it writes what was shouted. "Next?"
"They have a virus."
"Oh, that's good I haven't heard that one." Draven says as he writes it.
"They have troubled homes or lives."
"That's a very good guess." Draven agrees as he writes. "Okay last one."
"Psychological."
"Elaborate." Draven asks turning around and crossing his arms. A woman in the back starts speaking.
"Their minds are artificial intelligence, right?" She asks.
"Yes." Draven answers.
"So, intelligence to them is gather information and that information is in watching humans or TV or listening to the radio, seeing the world. So psychologically they pick these things up and want it more and more but feel bound to their programming. They break free and become, what was it?"
