CHOCOLATE PUDDING FOR MY ENEMIES, VANILLA PUDDING FOR MY FRIENDS.

The author: BiggestBookHugger

Titles: "Homeless With A Home" and "Besties"

INTRODUCTION

Why on Earth did you use the nickname as a title instead of using the usual title of the book? Okay, I do know that it is something different; however, I did struggle to choose the title.

Choose the title? Well, I was asked to review "Homeless With A Home", but on the author's profile, one other book caught my attention. "Besties" is another GxG story, which personally more satisfies my taste. Despite the fact of my own preferences, I did enjoy both of them, therefore I struggled to decide which story I would like to review. Being the reason behind the title is the nickname of the author instead of the title, I decided to review both of them.

SUMMARY

If you read this book for longer than one chapter, you've probably realized that I rarely write summaries. Therefore you will be shocked to know that I will not really write a proper summary for any these books - you're welcome.

BESTIES

"She was my friend until the word got caught in my throat and as I choked on the very word that I thought had defined our relationship this entire time.
She was my friend up until the point where I realised there was something beautiful about her fox-red hair that shined in the light, or the tiny little dots on her cheeks, or her small grin that seemed to be reserved to me and only me.She was my friend until I asked her to help me learn how to dance. My sweaty palms wrapped around her neck. Her hands were firm on my waist as we looked at each other awkwardly. We fit like two puzzle pieces. Couldn't she see that?"

Do not bloody lie to me that it doesn't hook you enough! Honestly, I love this description of the story, moreover, I love it even more, because I didn't even have to write it - the author did it for me! Also, if you already did not fall in love with the writing style then I do not want you were. Go away. (Just kidding, please stay.) Seriously though, the author actually knows how to use repetition without making the story sound boring and it is not common amongst The Wattpad Writers. So, good job.

 So, good job

HOMELESS WITH A HOME

Okay. you might question why I decided to not only review it but to also review the other book. Perhaps it is boring? Perhaps it is bad? The answer is NO.

SUMMARY

"She doesn't go by her last name anymore. Others don't call her by her first either. To most, she's just the homeless girl. To most, she's the girl that steels their loose change. To most, she's deadly. But to her, she's broken. So what happens when Hannah tries to pick up the pieces? What happens when she finds something she wasn't expecting? "

The author did my job for me again; however, being the honest person that I am, I think that this story slightly reminds me of all of the "similar scenario" stories. Don't get me wrong, the life of the main character does not go smoothly at all, but it somehow reminds me of a "perfect love", which I am not a big fan of.

How can you say something like this about a story that describes: rape, abuse, self-harm, addictions, mental illnesses etc.?  Wel, if you didn't get the sarcasm then...

This book may be a big shock for some of us.  It truly describes the dark side of humankind and our actions. The overall story, at least for me, seems to describe domino effects and how our actions affect others. The story plot is amazing and it really plays with your imagination, which is quite dangerous or uncomfortable if you are easily disturbed. The whole story kicks off with an after-rape scene (at least I interpreted it in this way) making you suddenly realize that it is not a flowers and rainbows story. This makes the story stand out, despite being a GxG book.

LANGUAGE, STRUCTURE, ENGLISH GCSE...

I could give you a paragraph admiring the writing style, but I won't as I feel that you can probably work it out by reading the summaries.

How lazy can I get?

SO, WHICH ONE DO YOU PREFER THEN?

Guess.

"Besties" is a more like surface web of love; however, "Homeless with a Home" is the dark web of love.

THE RATING!!!

34 cupcakes (for the writing) + 743 chocolates (for the plot) + 25 puppies (for the abuse of my imagination) + 45 pens (for futuer writing)
