As a kit, her father disappeared without a trace. No cat saw him leave the camp and no cat had seen him since the day Birdpaw and Maplepaw were born. Their mother, Sunflower, didn't seem heartbroken at all. She continued to live her life making sure her kits never found out who their father was. For many moons the clan searched for their missing father, but he left no trace. It's like he disappeared into thin air.
The Clan moved on and so did life in general, Sunflower randomly attacked anyone who spoke of her mate.
