"YOU INSOLENT CHILDREN YOU WERE QUITE OBVIOUSLY DRUNK OFF OF YOUR ARSES"

I jumped as Snape slammed a large book down on the table infront of me. I looked back down at the desk as I felt his beady eyes jumping from me to Draco and back again.

"Still not talking Miss Potter?"

I kept my eyes glued on the desk infront of me, not daring to meet Snape's glare. I felt a sharp pain shooting through my head as Snape tried legilimency on me. Snape snatched the book up from the desk and walked away, obviously annoyed by the fact he taught me so well. I let my eyes wander up to where he was standing at his desk, staring back at both of us. He let out a muffled humph, snatched his wand off his desk and with one wave all of the desks disappeared from the classroom.

"If I'm stuck with you for three weeks, I might as well make the most of it. Draco on the other side of the room, Miss Potter stay here."

Draco gave me a slightly worried look before walking to the far end of the room and turning back to face Snape and I. "Professor, what exactly are we doing?"

"Dueling. Mister Malfoy I have seen your sorry excuse for dueling and Miss Potter I am curious to see yours."

Snape moved behind me, so close that I let out a small shiver as I felt his warm breath on the back of my neck. "Begin."

Draco was the first to move, sending a simple expelliarmus which I easily blocked. I returned with stupefy which Draco also easily blocked. We went back and forth for some time before Snape became bored and stopped us. "As capable as you two are dueling simple spells, these will do you no good in the presence of a Death Eater." Snape stepped from behind me to my side, never once taking his eyes off of me. "Begin."

I was the first to cast this time, sending the incarcerous spell towards Draco. Draco failed to block it and was sent flying backwards onto the ground as ropes began wrapping tightly around his body. Snape waved his wand towards Draco, immediately freeing him from the ropes. Draco pulled himself from the floor and hauled a hex at me which I easily blocked. Draco and I began going back and forth, quickly yelling various hexes and curses at each other. I was able to successfully block every single one and began throwing them back at Draco faster and faster. He was able to keep up but eventually stopped returning them to focus on blocking. I was just getting comfortable when Draco threw a surprise hex my way. I flew back against the wall of the classroom and slid down to a heap on the floor. I faintly heard Snape calling out to me at I regained my focus. Before I could even finish pulling myself up from the floor I mentally began sending more hexes and curses Draco's way, feeling myself lose control with each one that left my mind.

"Control yourself Annalise" a melodic baritone voice whispered into my ear. I jumped, not realizing that Snape had come up behind me, and as my eyes turned towards him the final curse left my mind.

Time seemed to slow down as I watched Snape fall to the ground, crying out in pain. I stood there frozen as Draco ran over to us, pushing me to the side of the room before tending to Snape. A long gash had appeared on his arm and blood had began pouring out of it. I stood against the wall, unable to move, and watched helplessly as Draco performed a healing spell over the wound. Draco turned and began frantically yelling something at me, but I couldn't hear it. A new sound had filled my head; a voice.

An expert dueler who shows no remorse for her opponents. Miss Potter you are turning out to be more useful than I could have ever imagined.

As the voice left my head it was replaced by the frantic yelling of one, no, two people. I slowly opened my eyes to see Draco and Snape kneeling over me with worried expression on both of their faces.
