I wish upon a lucky star
That may take me wherever you are.
In the glassy twinkling Sky
If only with wings could I fly.
Down the river and over the bridge
Perhaps a hill or a mountain ridge.
I hope to cross far and beyond
My love for you is as strong as our bond.
Perhaps sail on the oceans far and blue
Without a compass or a clue.
Maybe swing by the vines of the forest trees
Or move like a ladybug between the leaves.
Such are the things if only I could do
Just for a chance to see you.
So I sit tight and let my dreams
Carry me away to a shortest gleam.
