Manik's Pov

I stuffed food inside Mrudula's mouth, who started her games again with me. She ordered so much food herself that even we could serve whole Mumbai with it. Not that I worry because we Cabir here to complete it. I sighed when she made a face at me yet again.

Bird, I want you to complete this plate, Now. She pouted at me.

Chachu bas na. I rolled my eyes yet filled her mouth with rice, she whined at me but one glare she opted to chew than argue with me. She knows my anger.

When she completed her plate it was then an hour, I sighed mentally. She is one tough girl when it is food to fed for her.

Where others already left us behind as they wanted to explore the zoo more. I let them go taking Bird's responsibility with me. I haven't spent my time with her properly and I feel guilty for same. But she was not feeling sad for same. In fact, she was more than happy to spend time with her parents. Surprising me like hell. Where she filled me what and all she did on her trip, how was Palak with them? I couldn't help but smile how Dhruv and Alya have changed to take care of my Bird that I never have seen or heard of. In total my baby Bird is happy with her parents. I can't help but be happy for her. That doesn't mean I trust her parents. I somewhere couldn't bring myself to trust them fully for my baby's love and security. I want to be her shadow when she needs me I should be there. And I'll be there for my Bird always. Anyways at the end of the few years, she will permanently be in my house as my daughter-in-law. That idea made me smile at the future. I make sure Abhay falls for this girl. I can't let someone take this girl away from us. She should be with us forever. Period!

How are your parents treating you? I questioned her. She filled up saying her whole day. Which starts with them and ends with them. In total I have never seen my Bird so happy than at the moment. I kissed her forehead. Let her God bless with all world's happiness for her pure heart. Is my wish for this girl.

Tring*Tring*

I frowned, I slide my mobile from my pocket to see it was from my office. 

Bird, Why don't you join them, I'll be back in a few minutes. She bobbed her excitedly as she saw Alya calling her holding pigeon in her hand securely. Damn! Someone say me, she is the same Alya, who I have seen for years. That makeup kit. Not forget Nandini's ever favorite target in college. That reminds me how sarcastic Nandini was and how dumb was Alya. Well, I don't have words but to chuckle at the past.

It's better important. I yelled at the person over the phone.

I was sending emails to Sinha uncle(Vishwas's dad), who was looking after the work in the office in mine and Vishwas absence. He is a great help to us. Though he took retirement from the company, he is still the founder of our company. He is always there when we both are busy. He never complained to us. He is mostly looking after the company as I and Vishwas are busy in our family time. And the man didn't complaint a bit about for us. In fact, he makes sure we don't get a burden when we return to our work. He is a great help always.

I heard some gushing going on to my right. A small crowd as already formed. I would've chuckled it if I didn't find Nandini and Cabir. What the fuck are they both doing? 

I made my way to them. Only to hear people gossiping among them. I frowned when I saw familiar specimens'. What the fuck is going on here?

Dare you bully her? It was killer Abhay Malhotra who was holding some boys collar. I cringed at his tone. I looked Nandini for explanation or for some scolding only to see pride for her son with a never-ending proud smile on her.
