Five days had passed since the hurricane hit. The reporters had gathered again and i was worried that they would never leave. My phone rang making me jump. I looked down and I had a message from Masrani Global.
"Dear Ms Dearing
We are holding a meeting at the Masrani Global H.Q on Friday Next week. We would like you to attend,
Yours Truly."
"Hay babe."
I looed over my shoulder and saw Owen stood there.
"You ok?"
"Yeah. Masrani Global are holding a meeting and they would like me to join."
"Are you going to?"
"I have no idea."
"Its going to be ok you know."
"I know. I need to get some new clothes. Come with?"
He nodded and while I got my boots on he wrote a note for Karen.
"You ready?"
I nodded. He opened the door and I grabbed his hand. We walked away from the sea of reporters. We stopped while we waited for the road to clear and I kissed owen when a litte girl pointed to me.
"Mommy. Is that her."
"It is."
The woman turned to me.
"You should be disgusted with yourself. Your a bitch and a ugly whore"
Owens POV
The urge to punch the woman was so strong. I felt Claires hand leave my own and when I looked she was running home. I turned to the woman.
"You should be ashamed."
"ME! She killed innocent people!"
"NO she didn't! I was there. I was on that Island. It was Masranis fault and he is dead! Leave Claire alone! She has a life! Your not the one that has to sit there when she wakes up screaming an in floods of tears because she has had another nightmare. You aren't there when she breaks down because she feels guilty. You haven't lost your only friends. You aren't there when she feels scared to leave the house because there are people like you in this world."
I turned around and sprinted after Claire.
