I sprinted back after Claire and when I got back to karens she was sat in a mess of tears.

"Its ok."

I sat down next to her and wrapped my arms around her.

"How can you say that? I mean, Is that what everyone thinks of me?"

"No!"

We stayed like that for a while before Claire finally stood up.

"I cant stay here."

"What?"

"Im going back to my apartment."

"Im coming too."

We told karen and she understood. We packed our bags and left that night. Zach and grey were sad we were leaving but they too understood why we were. The Journey to the apartment was quiet. I had insisted I drove because I could tell that Claire needed the sleep. I looked over at her and she looked peaceful. The masrani meeting was tomorrow and Claire had already made up her mind. She was going. I pulled up on the drive way and turned off the engine. I got out and unlocked the front door. I walked over to Claires side of the car and carried her bridal style to the bedroom. She looked at ease and that made me happy.

Claires POV

woke up to a sweet and warm smell. I headed downstairs and found owen making pancakes. He looked over at me and smiled.

"Pancakes before the meeting."

"Don't remind me."

"It will be fine. Remember, Im here for you. No matter what."

"No matter what?"

"No matter what. I will always love you Claire."

"I love you too."

We shared a smile and ate our breakfast. It was soon time to leave and I gave owen a kiss before running out the house.

"I love you!"

"Love you too!"

Masrani global HQ wasn't far from my apartment. Probably a 30 minute drive. When I got there I could already see a lot of people milling around. My anxiety hit.

"Breathe Claire Breathe "

I got out the car and everyone turned to look at me. I just stared at the floor and made my way inside. But when I walked in I didn't expect to see...
