"Leave me alone, Snotlout!" This had been the third time you had yelled at the young Viking. He tired again. "But you know you want me!" He said looking at you with dreamy eyes. You glared at him and tried to walk away. This was a common thing that happened between you two. But it was early in the morning and today you just didn't feel like dealing with it.

Once outside you rubbed your eyes and tried to put your focus back to were it was, only for the door to open. "Go away Sno-"

You stopped when you realized it wasn't the boy that had been bugging you from earlier. "S-sorry Hiccup." Blush crept across your face out of embarrassment. He gave you a warm smile. "It's ok, (y/n)." You mirrored his expression and found yourself caught in a silence.

"Well I should, uh, head out. I've got some stuff to do." You began to walk away when you were stopped by him. "Hey (y/n)?" Turning back, you noted the light blush that Hiccup held on his face. "Yeah?"

"I was just wondering if-if maybe you wanted to, I don't know, do something.. Some time?" You couldn't help but smile at how cute he was being, but in all honestly you weren't really wanting to be in any relationships. "I'm just not looking for a relationship yet. I'm sorry." He looked away sheepishly. "Oh ok."

Before it could get anymore awkward than it was, you walked away leaving him there. And that was when it all started.

Your eyes slowly drifted open. You yawned letting the last bits of sleep leave your body. Getting up, you did your normal morning things and after putting on clothes, walked out the door.

When you opened it you smiled down at the little white rose left on your doorstep. Picking it up you searched for the message that usually came with it.

"Good morning, Milady."

Shaking your head you brought it inside and placed it in a vase with the others. Hiccup had done this ever since that day at The Great Hall. Quite frankly, you found it adorable.

Stepping foot outside, you looked around at the rather empty place. Getting up early wasn't something you enjoyed, but you had a job to get to. You had worked at the bakery since you were young, and loved the job.

Opening the door, you were instantly greeted by the smell of warm fresh bread baking. "Bout time you got here, (y/n)!" You smiled at Astrid and ran to grab your apron. She smiled back took a break from placing bread onto the stands. "How are you?" She asked placing her hands on her hips. You shrugged. "Fine, I guess."

"Did Hiccup leave another-"

"Yes." You nodded already knowing her question. She laughed and shook her head. "Why don't you just put the poor boy out of his misery and go out with him!" You sighed and started to mix some dough. "I just don't want to do the whole relationship thing again." Astrid gave you her famous look and was about to say something when the door opened. She served the customer leaving you to kneed the dough.

Hours passed like this and right at noon, the place started to fill up with sailors in need of food. Rushing around you gave what you could to the impatient men and baked as fast as you could.

"Looks like you're busy?" You turned around from putting a pan in the oven and looked into the green eyes of Hiccup. "You think?" You replied rolling your eyes playfully. He just laughed. "Want any help?"

"You know nothing about making bread." He raised an eyebrow at you and grinned. "I could help at the counter. And you need the help." You opened your mouth to say something only to get interrupted by one of the men.

"Hey! I have a ship to get to! Could I get a little service over here?" You bit your lip and walked over to him. "What can I get for you today?" He gave his order and you ran back to Astrid who was working the ovens. After giving her the order she groaned but started on it.

"Hey! I don't have all day! These stupid waitresses." You frowned feeling a little hurt by his words. Suddenly you see Hiccup approaching the man. "Excuse me, what gives you the right to talk to a lady like that? She works hard and if you're going to be rude then leave!" You were slightly surprised by his words, but couldn't help the smile that spread across your face. The sailor apologized.

"Thank you, Hiccup." He smiled as his cheeks turned a light pink color. "It was nothing."

The rest of the day continued normally. Only when rude sailors came in, Hiccup would tell them off. It was nice to have him there.

You packed up at 4:00 and left as someone else came and took your place. Right as you were about to leave for home you were stopped. "Hey, you're rather pretty. Wanna sail away with me?" You shuttered and tried to decline polity but felt his grip tighten. "Of I think you might."

"Stop! Let go of me!" You tried to break free of his grasp on your arm, but it was too strong. "Come along." He said pulling you toward the docks.

"What are you doing?" A voice asked from behind you. The sailor stopped and looked to see Hiccup standing with his arms crossed and his dragon, Toothless, behind him. "Ah, nothing. Just leaving." Toothless gave a growl causing him to look up at the beast. He let go and ran off.

"Are you ok?" You turned to Hiccup who gently picked up your arm the man was holding. You nodded as he inspected the area. "I think I'll be ok." He smiled then let his hand fall into yours. "Can I show you something?" Butterflies flew wildly as you looked at your two hands. You nodded and felt him pulling you toward Toothless.

He helped you on, then climbed on in front of you. You hesitated to wrap your arms around him, but did as you took off into the sky. You admired the beauty of being up high and looked down at Berk. "(Y/n)?" Hiccup asked pulling you away from the scenery. "I wanted to make a deal.."

"Go on?" You were feeling slightly curious as to what it was. "The place I'm taking you to, if you love it, will you go out with me?" You chuckled knowing deep down he was going to ask that. "Sure, whatever." You smiled and waited for him to get to wherever it was he was taking you.

Soon you landed in a small clearing surrounded by... Roses? You laughed as you looked around at them. "So this is where you get them." You noticed the smile on his face has he climbed down and went to pick one. Sliding down from Toothless he handed it to you. "For you." You rolled your eyes and took the rose from him taking in its scent. "I'll admit, this place it beautiful." He smiled and took a step closer. "Just like you." His voice was deep and drew you in. Blush crosses your face as you looked away from him. He gently raised your gaze back to his and he smiled.

"I love you, (y/n). And I would do anything in the world for you." The blush on your face increased as your eyes locked. "Hiccup I-"

You never got to finish as he closed the gap between you, pulled your lips to his. You stood there shocked but kissed back slightly. When he pulled away, his eyes met yours. "You're the most amazing girl I've ever met. And I-I know I'm no one special, but I really hope you'll be my girlfriend?" You couldn't help the smile that crossed your face as you thought back to everything he had ever done for you.

To answer his question you closed the gap again.
