Chapter 6.

" She Gets to go first? how'd they figure that was the best idea, Its not like she has any bit of information they'd want. she was already gone." I thought, watching as she and Randy diappeared down the steps, Turning my attention back to the others, A hint of anger and sorrow gleamed faintly in their eyes.
" Well, at least shes gone for a while. My patiences was wearing out." Rigel said, picking up the scattered cards and shuffling them.
"Why do the police want to talk to you guys, thats a bit odd. they dont usually go around questioning people without cause." Bryn asked, turning directly towards me, The others remainded utterly silent I felt Brams gaze intently fixed on me. " its just nothing really, They do this every once in a while to the none new kids." I retorted, glancing quickly at both Bram and Bryn before opening a notebook and proceeding to draw in it hoping he'd stop looking at me. Of course he didn't.

" How long is she going to be gone? Im sure answering questions can't take forever." Erika inquired, sensing that we were going to disregard what was said she carefully took her cellphone out of her bag and started to completely tune us out. " So. How are you guys adjusting to the school?" Nathaniel said. Intently watching, His dark brown eyes were locked on them now, like a lion zoning in on its latest prey. Waiting for some type of response.
"Well, its certainly is something to get use to. Its sort of like a weird combination between public school and boarding school." Spencer answered vaguely, We stared at him for what felt like ever, I wasnt sure how to process that, it seemed as though something was being held back. The other were a bit suspious too but werent about to make a huge deal out it, No not right away.

"Hm, Quite an Interesting response I'd say, We'll be happy to show you all, how we do things around here. Its the least we can do." Bram retorted, A sly grin crept across his face. Those eyes now began to darken and i knew this was a game to him. One he always liked to win and usually he did.
"Ugh, that was a complete waste of an hour. My parents will be hearing about it." Sabine Said, nearly shouting as she stormed over to us. It caught us all off guard shockingly even Bram. He mumbled a few words under his breath, before balling his fists tightly, she cautiously proceed to sit down across from him and she smiled putting her books and phone on the table.
" You were questioned too, I take it? and Sure Sabine, you can totally Sit with us." Erika said sarcastically leaning forward slightly waiting a reply.
"Well Duh, Of course i was. After all i am a regular presence." Sabine answered as she glared at Bram vigorously. They argued for awhile, I sat there quietly tuning them out the best that could. It was getting difficult lately to tune anyone out the more I tried to, less it worked. Maybe I should get help for that.

"Well- what did they ask you?" Bram asked, he kept his eyes on the table. I could tell how badly he wanted to look at her.
"Those two creeps, kept asking about when LG disappeared. I-I tried to keep the same story the best I could remember.. Here's hoping the rest of you do." She answered looking away from him now. It was silent for awhile, each of us deep in thought and the new kids, I could tell they had questions.. Hell I would. I knew they would go with the flow and wouldn't say anything.
"The scary truth is- I can't remember when LG disappeared. She was fine, nothing seemed wrong. Was it raining that night? Were we at division, I think so. Its all blurred together, everything from before and after. Its faded now, just like she is. LG.. Where are you?" I thought sitting there, staring off at nothing. I could feel an anxiety attack coming on and I was trying to deflect it.

"Lets play cards again! Why ruin our fun, talking about this for the hundredth time." Mason said, sensing my discomfort, proceeding to distract Sabine by asking her questions until she relaxed and let the Conversation with Bram die, picking up the packages slowly off the table, We all shrugged, there was nothing better to do.
"I've never played cards before and that's cool we're going to just ignore what's happening." Bryn said, questionable staring down at the ones in her hand. We stared at her waiting to see if she was joking. She wasn't. "Wait, Like never ever played before? How is that humanely possible. What the hell did you guys do in school." Erika said, Shuffling her chair over closer to Bryns, implying that her question deserved an answer.
