"I know but I didn't think he was gonna try to kiss me," I said wiping tears from my eyes as we continued laughing. I pulled out my phone. 12:35 it read. I put my phone back in my pocket as we walked back into the house. Corey and Aaron were sitting on the couch watching TV. I sat down next to Aaron, and Colby and Brennen sat on the other couch. "Hey Bella, what's up?" Aaron asks grabbing an Xbox controller. I smirked grabbing the other one. He looked at me confused. "Call of Duty?" I ask. His eyes widen and he nods his head. We decided to do 2v2 so he could try to beat me. We were in a warehouse, and I snuck up behind him and killed him with a headshot. "Damn you got some skills." Aaron said looking at me then back at the screen. I started humming Dying in LA by P!ATD and then started singing getting so caught up in the game.

I stopped realizing other people were in the room. You focused on the game again killing Aaron again, this time shooting him in the chest. "Try me bitch," I said to Aaron with a smirk. I got up and walked into the kitchen to get some water. I heard them talking. "I've never heard anyone sing that amazing." Then I heard "She sang for Brennen and I on the way to Dunkin this morning and it was beautiful." I blushed and walked back into the living room with one hand on my hip and the other holding a water bottle. "I forgot you guys were in here with me and that's why I started singing. It helps me concentrate." I say blushing going back to the couch to sit down. I feel them all staring at me. "What?!" I say yelling. They all look a bit startled, I pick the controller back up and start playing Call of Duty again. I was playing alone, I started shooting anything that was moving and killed 20 people. I missed one and I grunted in frustration. I felt someone sit next to me. "Yes?" I say without taking my eyes off the screen. I feel a hand on my thigh making me nervous. Knowing I had to concentrate to kill these people I started singing quietly.

"Don't be cautious, don't be kind, you're committed, I'm your crime, push my button, you got your finger on the trigger but your trigger fingers mine, Silver dollar Golden flame, dirty water, poison rain, perfect murder, take your aim I don't belong to anyone but everybody knows my name, by the way you've been uninvited, cause all you say are all the same things I did, copy cat"

I start humming the rest as I finish in first place, killing over fifty people. I sigh and set down the controller. I look to my left to see who's hand is on my thigh. I see Colby smiling like a madman. "You good?" I ask him, concerned. He nods and takes his hand off my thigh blushing. I feel my ass buzz. I lean into Colby to take it out of my back pocket. He blushed even more if that's even possible. I see Brennen texted me. I sighed and got up. Colby looked at me confused. I waved it off.

Me: stfu bitch

I roll my eyes as I read the text. I walk upstairs to Colby's room and lay down on the couch. I grab my backpack that I have from yesterday. I pull out my earbuds and play Billie Eilishs album 'don't smile at me' I slowly start to fall asleep. I hear someone open the door, I look up and see Colby. "Hey princess," He says with a smirk. I smile at the nickname. "Hey, what's up?" I ask him propping myself up on my elbows. He walks over to the couch and sits down next to me. I put my legs on his lap and look at him confused. "Do you maybe wanna, um, go on a date with me or something . . . ?" He mumbles. I look at him and nod. "I'd love that," I say. His face lights up. "When are we going and where?" I ask with a smirk. He looks at me. "I was thinking the movies tonight? Annabelle is playing," I know he's trying to get me to go see a scary movie so I can hold his hand. "Okay, lets go" I say standing up. He starts to walk out of the room, but I grab his wrist and pull him towards me. He looks at me confused. I smirk kissing him on the cheek, I pull him by his arm down the hall. I turn around to see him blushing madly as we walk down the stairs. I throw my shoes on and yell "Colby and I are going to the movies," Brennen comes around the corner and winks at me. I roll my eyes pulling Colby out the door. We get in the car and drive to the movies. He puts his hand on my thigh and says "can you sing me something?" I nod.

"And another one bites the dust, oh why can I not conquer love? And I might have thought that we were one, I've got to fight this war without weapons, and I went it I want my life so big, but there were so many red flags, and another one bites the dust, yeah let's be clear I trust no one, you did not break me, I'm still fighting for peace, well I've got thick skin and an elastic heart, but your blade it might be to sharp, I'm like a rubber band, until you pull too hard, yeah I may snap-"

Colbys grip on my thigh tightens. I gasp in surprise, and then smirk at him. So that's how you wanna play. I put my hand on his thigh and slowly moved it up. He gasped in surprise when I gripped his thigh tightly. He pulled his leg away and I smirked going on my phone. I decided to text Brennen.

Me: dude we're going to see Annabelle and I'm terrified

Me: shut up dipshit

The car stops, I look outside and see the theater. I turn off my phone and put it in my pocket. I'm honestly so terrified to see this movie but I'll be with Colby so I guess it's okay.
