I woke up to Brennen playing with my hair, I pulled him closer to me feeling comfort. "You wanna talk about what happened last night?" I sighed knowing I'd have to talk about it sooner or later. Nodding I sat up, I opened my mouth to say something when Colby poked his head in the doorway. "Is it okay if I come in?" He looked a bit nervous. I nodded and began again. "I relived something from my past in my nightmare. It happened almost a year ago but I'm still terrified of it. Um, basically what happened was that I tried to kill myself," I said quietly. I was now pacing back and forth in Brennens room. "Bella-" I shook my head. "It's fine. I'm fine. I jumped off a bridge into a river, but people had called ambulances and stuff so I was fine after a week in the hospital." I shivered thinking about what had happened. Colby stood and walked over to me, gently using his thumb to wipe away my tears. I hadn't even noticed I was crying. I took a deep breath and then sat down looking at my scarred and cut arms. Colby grabbed my arms and gently kissed both of my arms. He looked at you with a sad smile. "It's okay." He said pulling me into a hug. I felt two more arms wrap around me, knowing it was Brennen I smiled. I sighed, "can we go eat?" I asked nervously looking back at my arms. "Okay, lets go." Colby said pulling me up. We walked downstairs and I pulled my sleeves down to hide my cuts from everyone else. As we walked into the kitchen I saw Corey with a girl and they were laughing. He whispered something to her and she nodded. "Hey Bella," Corey said grabbing my attention. I looked at him and smiled. "Yeah?" I said looking at the girl next to him who looked a bit nervous. "This is my girlfriend Devyn." I smiled and walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. "Hi, I'm Bella." I said pulling away. She smiled widely and looked at Corey. "I like her." She said with a laugh. I giggled at her comment and walked towards the fridge. Colby grabbed my wrist and turned me around. "What are you doing?" He said smirking. "Um, getting food? Unless you keep body parts in here. I don't know man." I said smirking. He looked at me speechless. "We don't- but I, and it- ugh." He said looking down. I laughed at this as he and Brennen pulled me towards Colby's car. I sat in the back and Brennen sat in the front. He handed me the aux cord. I smirked and played Roaring 20's by Panic! At The Disco and started singing. They looked at me shocked. "What? Do I have something on my face?" I asked pulling up Snapchat to check my reflection. Jut my cuts from my dollar store "adventure". I looked back at them confused as we pulled up to Dunkin Donuts. Colby parked the car and turned to look at me. "You have an amazing voice." He said with wide eyes. I blushed madly and looked down fiddling with my fingers. "I can sing you a song if you want" I said mumbling. "Hell yeah!" Brennen said getting excited. "Do you know Safe and Sound?" He said excitedly looking at Colby. I nodded and they both grinned. "Sing it!" They both said. I blushed and started.

"I remember tears streaming down your face, when I said I'll never let you go, when all those shadows almost killed your light. I remember you said, 'don't leave me here alone'"

I stopped and looked at them. Colby was in tears and Brennen was just straight up shook. "Don't be such a baby Colby," I said with a smirk. "Let's go. I'd like to eat, today preferably." I say opening my car door. I walked into dunkin the boys following close behind me. I checked my phone, I had a text from my best friend drew.

Drew💕🤪: hey what the hell happened last night??
Me: oh some guy abused me at the dollar store
Drew💕🤪: wth? are you okay???
Me: mom I'm fine🙄
Drew💕🤪: whatever. where are you? you scared me shitless when you didn't come back last night
Me: I'm at Dunkin' Donuts rn with Colby and Brennen

My phone is taken from my hands as Colby grabbed it. He reads my messages. "Who's Drew?" He says with a wink. I roll my eyes. "He's my best friend. I've known him since 6th grade idiot." I say trying to snatch my phone back. He puts it higher away from my reach. I groan and walk forward in line. I lean against the counter and smile. "Can I get a large caramel iced coffee and two chocolate donuts?" The guy at the counter nods. "Name?" I tell him my name and pay. I go to sit down waiting for the boys to order. Brennen and Colby order and come sit by me. "Can I have my phone back?" I say in an annoyed tone. Colby raises an eyebrow and shakes his head. "Colbyyyy" I whine looking at him. He smirks and pulls out my phone and his phone. He puts his number into my phone and hands it back. Brennen then takes it out of my hands as soon as I get it back. "Brennen! Give me my phone back you jackass." He looks at me then puts his number in my phone. He hands it back. I look to see what their names are. Daddy Brennen;)💘 and Colbs😍💞. I roll my eyes. "You guys are such dorks." I hear my name being called and get up, Colby close behind. I get handed my drink and my receipt as I wait for my donuts I read my receipt and see something written on the bottom.

it says at the bottom. I blush and the guy from the counter comes over and hands me my bag. He winks and says, "you got a boyfriend?" I open my mouth to say something then I feel a pair of warm arms wrap around my waist. "Yeah actually she does." Colby says in a husky voice. The guy looks terrified, he hands me my bag and takes the receipt out of my hands and runs to the back. I turn around and walk towards the table where we were sitting. "Colby what the hell?" I say aggravated. Taking a sip of my iced coffee I scowl at him. "Well remember what happened last time a guy tried to hit on you?" He says in a warning tone. "Yeah but he wasn't drunk and he wasn't being an asshole about it either." I say rolling my eyes as I take a bite out of my donut. "Im just worried for you." Colby says. "Dude I can take care of myself. I'm a big girl." I say as I feel my phone buzz.

Daddy Brennen;)💘: bro he's so jealous
Me: and how do you know?
Daddy Brennen;)💘: did you see the way he was looking at you when he put his arms around you??
Me: no . . .
Daddy Brennen;)💘: exactly!! he's so jealous. just don't break his heart

I almost spit my coffee out as I read that text. Brennen started laughing as I glared at him. Colby looked at me confused. He tried to grab my phone but I turned it off and put it under my butt before he could grab it. Colby smirked and tried to put his hand under my ass. I smacked his arm and Brennen mouthed 'I told you'. I smirked at him as Colby growled frustrated. We sat there for another hour just talking and having fun. Life is better with these boys.
