Ready . . . .

ACTION!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I could hear the chattering of the godforsaken Host Club around me and could feel Haruhi lightly shaking my shoulder, questioning me if I was alright.
If only she knew about the internal crisis that I was having . . . ignorance is bliss.
Why is it that no matter how hard I try to have a normal and pleasant evening, it all turns to absolute shit? I shakily bent down to pick up my phone and reassured the frantic Souta on the other line.
"What the hell was that? Did you just drop your phone?" His voice was high pitched and squeaky, proving that I scared the crap out of him — what a baby.
"Don't worry about it you big idiot, you're making a big deal out of nothing so just forget about it. Anyway, when will you be here?"
"Oh, I don't know, maybe 10 minutes if there isn't any traffic." Perfect, that's just enough time to pack up my things, give a lame ass excuse to the happy-go-lucky bunch, say goodbye to Haruhi, then run down to the front gates. No time for playing around.
I nod my head at the mini-plan I formed in my head, sounds good. "Sure, but club ends in about 5 minutes so I'll just be waiting for you down by the front gates."
"Are you serious? I thought you had 30 more minutes until—"
"Great! Fantastic! I'll see you then,"
I quickly ended the call and heaved out a big sigh and massaged my forehead with my fingers. How is it possible to have a migraine from such a simple conversation?
Whatever, there isn't any time to be fooling around you big oaf! Get your ass up and move.
"Hey *Ane— I mean, *Aniki, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost or something. Who were you talking to on the phone?"
I snapped out of my semi-trance and looked over at my cute little sister. Her hand was still on my shoulder and those big brown eyes stared at me in worry. A small smile graced my lips and I poked her forehead slightly. For just a moment, I forgot about everything. "Nothing you need to worry about, I'll just be leaving the club early due to some business that needs to be taken care of."
She looks instantly annoyed. "So you're just going to leave me alone with these morons for the rest of the day? You're truly horrible." She continued to complain to me as I packed my bag and slung it over my shoulder.
"Now, now, don't be like that. Before you know it, your torture of staying here will be over." I patted her head then made my way to the four-eyed bastard. He sat at a table by the window, furiously typing into his poor laptop.
I put one hand on the table and hovered over him, our faces inches apart. Screw trying to get along with this piece of crap, I've figured out that all of my attempts would be useless in the future. "Hey four-eyes, I'm going to be leaving early for some business. Just add the extra time on my tab, damn Ootori."
The stupid smirk on his face just widened. "But of course, anything to please the big sister of our precious Natural Host. Although," his hand reached up to brush my bangs from my face. "I may ask for a different kind of payment from you, dear Riri-chan."
