Chapter 25

I was woken up by the sound of a door opening and slowly pried my tired eyes open.

A man facing the door in a black suit. his head adorned a mop of bright orange hair.

he looked oddly familiar...

When he turned around he smiled,

"hello miss Meyers, do you remember me?"

I smiled slightly,

"Ed, its nice to see you again."

Harry's point of view

I pulled my car to a stop outside of Louis' house. this was it. im going to tell him. I know im going behind Serenity's back but I had to, she might not have alot of ti-

no. stop thinking like that. She will be fine. get yourself together Harry.

I gritted my teeth and turned the car off. this was now or never.

I quickly got out of my car and walked up to the front porch, before I could even knock the door opened,

"what do you want?"

Louis asked with narrowed eyes.

"I need to tell you something, something that im sure you'd like to know."

Serenity's point of view

"how can I help you?"

I asked as he walked around the room.

Ed chuckled,

"not to sound rude Miss Serenity, but I think its you that needs my help."

"oh?"

I asked, waiting for him to continue.

"I know all about your disease Miss Serenity, there's no hiding it anymore. so I want to make a deal with you, or rather, a prepostition."

"what is this 'preposition' you're talking about?"

he smiled and sat down onto a chair that was next to my bed.

"Serenity. I know a cure for your disease. and I can get you treatment in the next five minutes. but you have to give me something in return."

my eyes widened as I gulped,

"w-what do I need to give you?"

"well..."

Louis' point of view

I sat on my couch. how could she not have told me?

"how long has she known?"

I asked, my voice deathly quiet.

"for a long time."

"DAMN IT!"

I stood up quickly and flung everything off of a nearby table sending them crashing to the ground.

but I wasnt done there. I punched through my dry wall and threw a picture frame off of the wall, shattering it. went to the kitchen and threw an expensive vase full of roses against the wall, shattering the glass and displaying the roses onto the white marble.

I took a deep breath and bent down, staring at the roses. all of them were destroyed except one that lay at my feet, seemingly untouched.

I carefully picked it up and wiped some of the broken glass off of the crisp stem and closed my eyes.

"even if the future seems dark, one rose can overcome the odds."

there was a moment of silence before I opened my eyes with determination.

"lets go."

I commanded to my nemesis who only nodded in agreement.

Serenity's point of view

"so do we have a deal, Miss Meyers?"

Ed held his hand out with a kind smile, I clenched my teeth with determination and took his hand.

"deal."

he smirked,

"well then, lets get you on your way to treatment miss Meyers."

I know I finally brought him back into the story xD
