I wake up as I hear a slight rustling at our window. I look around and see a dark shadow on the wall. It's huge. But before I can even scream, I feel a gag being tied tightly around my mouth, and before I know it I'm thrown in a sack. It suddenly becomes dark. Now if you've ever been in a sack, you'll know where I'm coming from, but if you haven't, well... it's really uncomfortable.

“Did you get her?” I hear a gruff voice ask.

“Yeah, what'd you think I have in the sack? A kitten?” I hear the voice carrying me say.

I don't really know what happened; he must've run me into a door-frame or something because I blacked out.

“Wake up!” I hear someone shout.

A blast of freezing water hits my face. I open my eyes in shock. I try to scream, but there's still a gag tied around my mouth. I slowly take in my surroundings. My hands are tied behind my back and to a chair; my ankles are also tied to the chair; I'm sitting in the middle of the room, and the only light is on me; my captor is standing in the shadows. I look by the door, there are two guards.

“Now, Princess Hazel, since you are conscious and listening, where is it!” my captor screams.

I mumble trying to get a straight word out.

“What? Oh, Larry, take off the gag,” My captor says.

The guy, apparently named Larry comes over and removes my gag.

“Okay, answer!”

“Answer what? Don't you think if I knew where it is, I would tell you?” I ask.

“No. Nobody—wait a minute! You're trying to trick me! I've only had you awake for like five minutes!”

I scoff at him, “Real professional.”

“Shut up!” He screams.

I hear a sniffle from his direction. Heart of a lion, this one. Sorry, going a little too Harry Potter.

“So what exactly is it?” I ask.

“If I knew that I wouldn't be asking you, would I?” My captor asks.

“Well, technically you asked where it is, not what it is,” I reply.

“Bah! Are all females this difficult?”

“Oh, even more so!” I exclaim.

My captor comes over takes out his dagger and presses it against my neck and breaks the skin. I cringe, but don't scream.

“Now, tell me where it is, or I'll get your little boyfriend and throw him in the gorge too!”

I glare at him, “Go fall in a hole,” I spit.

My captor screams then storms out of the room. The guards follow him out. Weird, I guess they don't expect me to get out of here. Wrong! Never put someone's hands facing each other. I quickly get the knot untied, and then untie my ankles. I have blood running down my chest from the cut. I look around the room and see a little window near the ceiling. I take the chair over and stand on it. I wiggle the window a little bit, it doesn't budge. I can see the lock is weak, so I take the bobby pin out of my hair and I stick it in the lock and I hear a click. I push open the window and wiggle my way out.

The sun is starting to peak over the horizon, I'm running through the forest and I run smack into someone.

“UH! Watch it!” I scream, as I try to stand up.

“Sorry,” I hear someone say.

I see a hand above me, I take it and when I stand, I'm looking into the face of a thirteen-year-old boy. He has shocking green eyes and black hair.
