Chapter 6:
The city cont.

I grabbed my bi-bi gun, held it right to the zombies head; and shot. It was worth a try considering my best friend was about to die, and to my luck; it worked. The bullet pierced through the zombies scull and he crumpled on top of Taylor. She screamed and screamed as the corpse lay limp on top of her.

I got up and ran over to her, helping her up.

"Come on we gotta go," I said as I pulled her to her feet.

James was still fighting off the zombies as we ran to the door. When we got to the door, I called him over and we pushed through the doors.

Adam and James struggled to keep the door closed as the zombies started piling on top of them. Eventually they gave up and we all sprinted towards my jeep. I got in the drivers seat with Adam and Taylor in the back and James right next to me.

We sped down the road until all the zombies stopped chasing us; then I pulled over to check the damage.
I turn around to face the back seat and ask everyone, "Was anybody hurt?"
My heart drops when I see Adam raise his hand. He clears his throat and says,

" I got hurt"

"You didn't"

I reply with a worried look on my face. I'm not the only one though everyone else has a shocked and concerned look.

"Like what type if hurt" Taylor asks; I really don't want to know the answer to that question but it determines whether we leave with 3 or 4 people. I just hope that it's 4.

That's when I see it; there is a gash in his leg about 3 inches long.
