We're Just "Hanging Out"

Lucy Pov:

I sat on a stool and pulled out a book. (I'm not gonna say a name Like 'The Fault In Out Stars' or something because when most people do that in books that I read, it just seems weird... NOT PUTTING DOWN THE BOOK BECAUSE I DON'T HATE BOOKS...) I was really into it because the main boy was leaning in for a kiss when I heard my name.

I growled at not getting to be able to read the kissing scene and turned around.

I saw Sting behind me smirking. He leaned forward and over my shoulder and read a page of the book.

"Thats a really stupid book..." He said chuckling and leaned back over his hips.

"Well I like the genre..." I said snapping the book shut. "What do you want Stingy-Bee?' I teased.

"1 Don't call me that...

2 I'm taking you out..." he said grabbing my hand and pulling me off of the stool.

"Why?" I asked skidding my feet on the ground trying to stop myself.

"Because..." He said without answering.

We walked into this giant mall and there were little remote controlled planes flying around. Confetti was being thrown everywhere. I looked at Sting and he looked at me and we started laughing.

He led me threw the crowds who were dancing and singing, we finally ended up on the other side of the mall and there were not that many people here than the other side.

"It's the annual band festival and 'The Wonder Girls' are here." He said walking by some stores.

"Oh, I've heard of that band..." I said. I went to their concert about a year ago.

"Here we are..." He said opening up the restaurant door.

I stepped in and smelt something delicious.

"Mmmmmmm... What is that?!?!" I asked taking another whiff of the smell.

"Their famous cotton candy." He said chuckling at the face I was making. " Two cotton Candies please..." He asked the woman at the counter.

"Please take a seat and your candies will be here shortly." she said guiding us to a table.

I sat across from Sting and looked down. I didn't want him to see me drooling over the smell.

"So what's up with you?" He broke the ice.

I looked up and my banges covered my eyes.

"I was betrayed by the love of my life..." I whispered. I new that he could hear me because he was a dragon slayer. I felt my cheeks getting wet and soon I was lightly sobbing.

I felt a hand on my cheek. I looked up to see that the owner of the hand was Sting. He brushed the tears away with his hand. I put my hands over his and we stayed like that until the cotton candies came.

He payed and we walked out of the mall. It was starting to get dark so he walked me home.

"I might be moving to a different house soon..." I said ending the silence. I threw the stick of the cotton candy away.

"Well make sure you get something on Cherry Street" He said throwng the stick away.

"Yea, Minerva told me..." I said stopping at my apartment. "This is my stop..." I said grabbing my keys."

"Lucy?"

"Yea?" I looked up and saw that his cheeks were tinted pink.

My face started to feel hot and I felt like my cheeks were red as a tomato.

"I had a lot of fun today..." He said looking at me.

"M-me too..." I stuttered.

"That guy who cheated on you... He is a real dickhead..." he said staring into my eyes. "You know that I would never do that to you..."

My face got super red.

"I I MEAN I WOUNDN'T BETRAY YOU!!!!" He started to wave his hands in the air.

"Oh um it's okay I mean your hot..." WTF WHY DID I SAY THAT.

"I um mean cute er handsome... No I mean-" I was so surprised.

He kissed me...
