It was a normal day. The sun shone through the window right into Connor's eyes. He turned into his other side to try and escape the harsh morning sun, but alas, his alarm clock foiled his plans.

Evan, being the early bird that he is, heard the alarm, sat up, and almost immediately was wide awake and smiling happily. It seemed as if that boy never ran out of energy.

Connor normally took a while to get out of bed in the morning. So Evan, being an amazing boyfriend, got up and started to make pancakes and coffee for Connor before he had to go to work.

Connor dragged himself out of bed and quickly took a shower to help wake himself up. He got dressed for work and made his way to the small kitchen of their apartment. He could smell the coffee and pancakes and he stomache grumbled.

"Good morning Connor!" Evan greeted cheerfully as he noticed his boyfriend walk into the room. He poured some coffee and put some pancakes on a plate before setting them on the table as Connor sat in front of them.

"Morning" Connor replied, yawning tiredly still. "Thanks so much for breakfast, Ev." He added, pulling Evan slightly closer to give him a peck on the cheek.

Evan smiled cheerfully. "No problem, Con." He replied as he sat down with his own plate of food next to his boyfriend.

Soon, it was time for Connor to leave for work. He was just about to walk out the door. "I'm leaving now, bye Ev!" he called out as he opened the front door.

"Wait!" Evan yelled back rushing into the room. "You forgot something!"

"Oh yeah, duh," Connor said, making a facepalming motion. "How could I forget." He grabbed Evan's chin softly and pulled him in for a sweet, yet passionate kiss.

Evan wasn't expecting this at first, but immediately melted into the kiss and kissing back with the same energy. After a few seconds, he pulled back for air. His face was bright red and Connor had a smirk in his face.

"I-I meant t-these, but o-okay..." Evan said shyly as he held out Connor's keys. Connor looked at them for a moment before bursting out into laughter.

"Oh yeah, those too." He swiped the keys before stepping out the still opened front door. "Thanks Ev, I'll see you after work." He called over his shoulder before shutting the door behind him.

Evan smiled dreamilyand waved as his boyfriend left. His face eventually cooled down to its normal shade rather than bright tomato red. He slumped against the wall with a sigh and a soft smile.

How in the world did he end up with the most perfect boyfriend.
