The Mistake that Became my Doom.

If only I had listened to my bad feeling, if only I had turned around and walked out of the building, if only I didn't come to this stupid party.. Maybe then I could have avoiding this.. No.. I'm certain I would have..

I looked down at my hands shakily. I knew something bad would happen! I knew it! Why was he staring at me like that.. Why me out of everyone else? His stare.. It felt as if it was draining all the energy from my body.. I almost felt like a couldn't breath. It was frightening.

I looked at the key before closing my hand into a fist and sliding down the door, until I was eventually sitting on the dorm rooms floor.

Looking around the room, to the right there was a bunk bed, the bottom bed was a double and the top bunk was only a single. The double bed was neatly made, the blanket flat and the pillows puffed and left sitting symmetrically at the top end of the bed. The top bunk, however, did not have a mattress, instead a wooden board had been placed on the metal bars to be used as some sort of table. From where I was sitting I couldn't make out what exactly was up there. On the left sat a large desk. A black chair with wheels sat neatly under the desk. A lamp sat neatly on the end of the desk and a laptop sat in the middle of the desk, opened but turned off. Class books lined the top compartment and I

stood up to take a closer look at them, curious as too the classes this guy took. Chemistry, AIT, Physics.. There were also many fiction books of all sorts, 'The Key to to Rondo', the Harry Potter book collection and my all time favourite, the 'Divergent' series. Whoever lives in this room was both a neat freak and a smart arse by the look of the courses he was taking and the books he had. I stared at the books in awe, I was a bit of a book worm you could say.. Well I did spend most of my time in the library so you shouldn't have expected anything less.

I placed the beer bottle down on the desk next to the computer as well as the key before turning my attention to the small room to the right of the desk and towards the back of the small room. Bathroom? I asked myself and walked towards it. I still really wanted to get rid of this shirt and the smell it carried.. It was truely horrid. I peeked inside, finding that it was in fact a bathroom and began to unbutton my shirt. When I had unbuttoned it fully I leant in front of the mirror and looked at myself, raising my hand to mess up my hair, it felt all stiff and gross.. That wax stuff is terrible, how does Hikaru put up with it everyday?

I could still hear the music from the hallway pretty loudly, it probably wouldn't make a difference whether the room door was opened or closed, it would still sound as loud either way. After all the dorm walls were only thin so sound could be heard from the rooms on either side of the one you were in pretty easily.

I turned the tap on and put my hands under the cold water, closing my eyes before splashing it over my hair and messing it up even more than it already was. Without opening my eyes I wet my hands again, holding them under the tap before rubbing them on my chest to try and get the sticky and dried alcohol off my skin. "Damn.." I mumbled and opened my eyes looking back up at the mirror.

My eyes widening in shock. "Ahh!" I yelled and spun around, slipping on the tiles and landing on my butt. I ignored the slight pain and pushed myself back against the sink cupboard as quickly as I could, kicking my legs around frantically to do so.

I'm dead.. I'm so dead.. This is the end if my life. I slowly looked up scanning the man from his shoes upwards. He wore large, steel capped boots and tight black jeans. His shirt was a white, fancy dress shirt and over top of that he wore the bluie's jumper. An ocean blue football jumper with white sleeves and the school logo sown on the left side of the chest. "Why are you in my room" he said, his voice was deep and low, to be honest he sounded very intimidating, so much so that I felt like a my words were stuck in my throat, unable to answer his simple question. A sweat drop appeared on my forehead as I looked up at his face, his dark red eyes peering down at me, "D-D-Dean..." I stuttered before looking back down at the tiled floor.
