When Mrs. Jeon opened the door, a wave of shock, happiness and relief washed over her, but the moment her son collapsed in her arms crying her smile was replaced with a distorted frown of concern. Despite all the questions creating pressure on her shoulders, Mrs. Jeon knew her boy needed time. After 4 days Jungkook came out from the safety of his room, looking sickly pale. He couldn't contain his secret any longer. He felt like he was going insane.

"Mom?", his voice was hoarse and weak.

"Yes?", Mrs. Jeon sprinted at once in the living room and sat down next to the beaten looking boy.

"Mom, I did something bad, very bad. I don't think I could ever face my hyungs again", he sobbed dryly. Not even tears would come out anymore.

"Jungkook, I'm sure that what had happened is not nearly as tragic as it seems.", she petted his soft brown hair.

"No, they hate me. You would hate me too."

"How can you say that, Jungkook?! I could never hate you and nor could these boys. We are family. We accept each other exactly as we are.", she looked at him, now a bit scared of what could trouble his heart so greatly.

"You promise not to hate me?", the young boy looked at the old woman as if begging or mercy.

"I promise. Now and forever."

"I think...I think Taehyung might be my soulmate", he closed his eyes expecting the worst reaction he could think of.

"And tell me, why is that a bad thing?", his mom was smiling so brightly it confused Jungkook.

"He can't be my soulmate! He's a guy and he's my best friend!", Jungkook spoke as it was the most obvious thing, but Mrs. Jeon chuckled.

"Gender doesn't matter. A soulmate is a soulmate. Do you like him, Jungkook, as in more than a friend?", she got serious again. The lack of response was an answer itself. Jungkook couldn't bring himself to say it out loud. He was beyond disgusted with his feeling. "Jungkook, there is nothing wrong with liking someone of the same gender. Love is love no matter what. Maybe, as it is for now, some people are not open minded enough to accept that there is a different from their normal. You shouldn't let their intolerance to stay in the way of who you are. Even more, you should fight for those whom you love, especially when you have such supportive friends.", she pinched his cheek and watched her boy in awe. Jungkook was speechless. Everyone had acted like it was normal, like it was expected. Everyone but him. "I will support you all the way through, but you need to talk it out with Taehyung and I can't help you with that. You can't hide from it.", Mrs. Jeon continued her speech. Jungkook took a moment to contemplate his next move. It could've been minutes, or even hours, bur Mrs. Jeon waited soundlessly.

"I will. I will go tomorrow morning", Jungkook finally smiled shyly. "Oh mom, but what if he wants to be just friends? What if I can't be a good boyfriend to him? I never dated before, how does it work?", the young boy whined like a high school girl. It wasn't easy to accept himself, but if others could, that gave him hope. He thought the sooner he'll act on it the sooner it will feel right.

"Ah, don't worry. Taehyung is a kind kid. I'm sure you'll be able to sort it out.", she smiled sweetly and hugged her boy who has grown so much.

"But what if he's not my soulmate?", Jungkook still tried to find doubts, not fully agreeing with is feelings yet.

"Soulmates or not, Taehyung is your best friend. That love alone should be more than enough to keep you guys together. All 7 of you, actually."

"Thank you, mom."

"I will always be here for you. Now come and eat something you look like a ghost.", Mrs. Jeon dragged her son by the arm and fed him like a baby, despite him being against it. She missed him greatly and wished to spend more time with him, but she couldn't keep him here. That would be unfair.

Back at the BTS dorm, Taehyung was just as skinny and pale, his hyungs filled with worry. They couldn't recognize that person anymore, his sombre and isolated aura keeping everyone up at night. Taehyung knew and he probably knew it for a while, his love for Jungkook was much more than friendship. He wanted to hold the younger in his arms, shower him in kisses and love and show the entire world that he was his and his only. But the way Jungkook had acted and spoke towards him, he was sure the maknae hated him for what he did.

"Ok, that's it! You stepped on my last nerve!", Yoongi entered full force in Tae's room, slamming the door so hard the younger fell off the bed.

"H-hyung?", Taheyung stuttered in shock, frantically trying to untangle himself from the mess of sheets.

"Yoongi hyung", Namjoon followed in, trying to calm the grumpy grandpa.

"Get your sorry ass up, take a shower and dress nicely! We're going to see Jungkook", he pulled Tae on his feet, threw a clean towel at him and pushed him towards the bathroom.

"I'm sorry hyung, but I don't think Jungkook wants to see me. It's better if you go without me", Taehyung looked at the floor, trying to hold back the tears.

"Would you shut up? It wasn't a question nor a suggestion. Now get ready, we're leaving in half an hour!"

"But, it's like 4 in the morning", Taheyung had a dumb expression on, not understanding why Yoongi suddenly acted like someone shoved a stick up his ass. Did someone wake him up?

"I don't care! I'm tired of looking at your ugly face. Move!", although his words were harsh, all the members knew that Yoongi cared more deeply than anyone else. Namjoon gave Taheyung an apologetic look and told him to just follow along. In the shower, Taehyung thought about how he would face Jungkook. "I don't know if you're my soulmate, But I really like you - no - I think we were made for each other - too cheesy.", Taehyung pulled his wet hair in frustration while trying to find the right words to form a confession. "Maybe he doesn't even like boys and I'm just stupid", he groaned.

The whole bus ride Taheyung was being cheered on by his members. Although he was thankful for having such supportive friends, they didn't make him any less nervous with the constant reminder of what he was about to do.

"Bye sweetheart", Mrs. Jeon hugged Jungkook and he gave her a goodbye kiss on the cheek. He wasn't going back for good, at least not today. He was just going to talk, but, of course, his life never went according to his plans.

"Hyungs?", Jungkook looked in shock at his members who just so happened to get off at the bus station near his house. The rest of the BTS was just as surprised seeing Jungkook there.
