Sam's POV

I woke up in some sort of hospital room. I was about to lash out when I saw my handler sleeping nearby. I relaxed where I was. I was ordered in HYDRA to protect my handlers with my life unless ordered otherwise. I sat up and looked around, ignoring the stickiness all over my face. I felt a tug on my hands and neck so I looked down. I had wondered why I couldn't move. I was strapped to the bed. Nice to see they still don't trust me. I hummed and looked at Widow. I had thankfully woke her up with my movements, she stood up and began unstrapping me. I was of course startled by the action. I stared at her, simply awaiting orders. When she didn't give them and just sat down I looked around. I got hair in my face and grumbled while pushing it out of the way.

"Do I have any orders ma'am? Or should I go back to... Sleep..." I looked at her and then at my feet as I mentioned sleep. I was probably in this room cause of that nightmare.

"Steve is coming to help me take you to your next cell. But we can head to the training room before that. Come on kid." She said, I stood up after her. I pulled out a lot of stupid monitor things. Quickening my pace I followed her almost like a guard for her. I probably looked like one based on my stance. And from my orders I might as well be. I followed behind her with heavy footfalls so she knew where I was. She typed in a code, I looked away of course, and opened a door into a large room that seemed to be a gym. There were things for circus, fighting, duals, legs, torso, head, and stamina/endurance. I looked at her as if waiting for her to tell me which one to do, which was the case. She looked at me after a bit and then realized what she did wrong.

"Ah. Do whatever you wish, I shall be over here watching." She waved me off. I nodded once and walked over to some of the circus items. I was in a mission recently where I was a performer. I looked up at the tightrope. This would practice balance and I needed that. I took off my boots and skipped the first few bars on the latter and climbed up to the top. I was near the rafters. That looked fun, maybe I could go there later. I looked down and got a feeling in the pit of my stomach. I hated heights but I needed practice. I didn't have braces on my feet so this is harder then normal. I slowly made my way across the wire several times. When the pit got to be to much I made my way down the latter. Looking around I saw a treadmill, pulling on my boots as I did so. A bright smile briefly flashed on my face as I practically skipped over to the equipment. Starting off at a low jog I kept going and tuned everything out. I was happy running, it was one of the few things I enjoyed in HYDRA. I didn't notice Stripper walk into the room and join Widow until I was full on running. I had kept my foot falls light so I wouldn't break the treadmill. After full on sprinting for a while I slowed the treadmill to a stop and pulled the clothes clinging to my skin away slightly. I quickly looked over to see Widow staring at me and Stripper next to her. I jogged over to Widow and stood in front of her in my usual resting position. Pretty much I always am at attention.

"I am ready to go if you are ma'am, sir." I bowed my head to them both. Stripper stood up and Widow followed the action. I followed her out with Stripper trailing behind me.

"You had excellent form while running. You also kept quiet footfalls while doing so. Was that part of your HYDRA training?" Widow asked as she kept facing forward. I frowned for a second.

"No ma'am it was not part of my training." I let my shoulders fall for a second before I straightened up again.

"I could only run or sing to pass the time in my room. And the guards hated my voice so I learned to run as quiet as I walk ma'am." I explained, watching her red hair bob slightly as she nodded. We made out way outside to what seemed to be a take off point. I knitted my eyebrows in confusion. I was taught not to question my handlers so I just followed Widow, noticing every agent we passed grabbed their weapon. They were smart.

"Ma'am. I apologize for speaking out of turn but where are we going?" I asked. She turned her head towards me and I swore I saw the small tug of a smile on her lips corners.

"Avengers tower. The most secure place where we can keep an eye on you." She faced ahead. I was very confused but trusted the secure part. I was lead to a jet like the one I was in before. I looked around for any box or cage I would be transported in. Instead I felt cold metal on my wrists. I looked at the restraints as best as a could since they were behind my back. I sighed softly but stood beside Widow.

"You should sit down. You might fall." She warned me. I shrugged it off.

"I am not comfortable sitting down. To open for weakness." I smiled at her, snapping my gaze forward as the jet began take off. I kept still as I watched the people around the jet. I was thrown around a bit as they took off. I of course pushed myself into the wall so I wouldn't hit anyone. I stayed there where I couldn't fall into someone and waited for us to land.
