It was almost Saturday and I was so ready for Caleb's party. I had just come home from basketball practice when an idea to finish off my outfit came into my head. I rushed to my room only to forget that there was an extra person living here. So, when Evan came walking out of the bathroom, I almost clocked him right in his face.

"Oh my God man," I said still in my jabbing stance, "This like the 3rd time I almost right hooked yo' ass. "

He laughed and I relaxed only to see that he was half naked. Now I see why Marcus was hung up over him. He hid an amazing body behind all those clothes. His shoulders were wide while his chest and abs made him look like he just stepped out of Men's Health. Did I also mention he was a little damped? Darrius was right; he sure was a Prince Charming because he was sure charming me. However, he still wasn't my type and I had to get this idea out of my head before I lose it.

I sped right passed him but he followed me. I turned back and he just looked at me motioning me to go forward. He then proceeded to keep following me to my room. I turned around again and said, "Nigga, can I please have personal space?"

He laughed and said, "I want to see what you have been working on for the past few days."

"What you mean?" I asked opening my bedroom door.

"Your outfit for the party," He responded taking me back in surprise, "Marcus told me that you make your own clothes and I know that you are probably making an awesome outfit."

I turned away but I cracked a small smile, letting him come into my room. Then I heard him say, "Woo, your room is so cool."

I went straight to my station and pulled out my design book. Evan forgot that this wasn't his room and plopped down on my silk sheets. I turned, throwing a pencil at him and said, "Get yo' wet ass off my clean sheets!"

"They feel good against my skin though," He said still rubbing his body and I just shook my head in disgust. I couldn't deal with this right now, I had to get this idea out. I grabbed a new pencil and opened to the page I started working on earlier in the week. I had the basic button-down concept of the shirt I was designing but I wanted something more. Throughout the day, I was thinking about making it sequin or metallic but it gave off a cheap vibe to me. Then I finally figured it out: glitter.

The glitter will give it a shine when the lights go off and I would have to sew in a very thin layer over the shirt. I also didn't want the layer to be loose, so I knew that I would have to start working on it tonight. Before I knew it, I was done with the drawing and Evan was standing over me with his mouth open.

"That shirt looks cool!" He shouted and I smiled to say, "Yea now all I gotta do is find or make the glitter fabric. Then my shirt will be complete."

I got up going through my fabric collection to see if I had any fabric that matched my shirt color. I went with royal blue because Darrius said he would kill me if the team didn't show up in royal blue. I went through all my fabrics and finally found the thin royal blue tulle glitter fabric. Evan looked on in amazement and it reminded me of Marcus. He got really excited too when I would open my old design book and start drawing. I pulled the fabric down and went to the closet to get my shirt. It was a regular button down that I had created Monday and now it was about to get a transformation.

"I thought you couldn't look better than the birthday boy," Evan joked and I said, "I'm not...I'm just going to be shinier. You know Harry is going to have him dressed to a T."

He agreed as I laid the shirt over the chair, getting out my kit to start on it. I don't know what it is but when I get an idea, I just want to get it out. No matter how ugly it may be, I just want to get it out. Taking off my jacket and putting my shirt on the table, I got down to business. I became hyper focused and forgot Evan was even there. This shirt had to come out right or I would have to restart from scratch. As time passed, I just remembered fabric cutting, measuring, and sewing.
