I was livid. Did Harry seriously think Tre was smart enough to keep me away from the party so I wouldn't find out about his meeting? Plus, did he really expect me not to find out about what he did with whoever that guy was? My blood was boiling as I raced down the highway to get home. I had to slow down before I entered my driveway or else I was going to end up swerving into the grass. I got out, slamming the car door hard enough to almost crack my window before stomping up the long driveway.

As I went into the house, I just let out the loudest yell I could. My anger was festering and I knew I had to breathe. I was pacing back and forth trying to hold it all in. My fist unclenched and clenched again and I thought I was calming down. Then my dad's face popped into my head and all I could think about was what happened when I went to go visit him. My blood was pulsating and the nearest thing to me was a wall. However, a strong voice stopped me.

"Hey, don't do it, "Evan yelled coming down the stairs in only his pajama pants, "The brick will fuck up your hand."

I had forgotten that it was a brick house. I'm just so hurt that my judgement is fucked up. Evan rubbed his eyes and I knew it was from the long shift he had today. I calmed myself enough to speak, "Thanks for looking out."

I walked toward the kitchen hoping a glass of water would soothe me. Evan followed me probably to make sure I don't break anything. Once I pulled a glass from the shelf and filled it up with water, I could already feel my anger boiling down. I drank quickly, letting the water put out the fire going through me. Evan leaned against the white wall and asked sarcastically, "How was the party?"

My head turned quickly but I had cooled down enough to talk. I heavily sighed and walked towards the living room, motioning for him to follow. He plopped down on the couch patting the space next to him and I sat down. I took another sip of my water before putting it on the table. I leaned against the back of the couch while Evan leaned against it, waiting for me to talk. I took another deep breath and begin to speak, "Let's just say...Caleb is upset with me and I'm pretty sure Darrius is too."

His eyebrows rose, and he asked, "You must have really messed up his party then. What happened?"

"My dad showed up," I replied, "Don't know why he was there but he was with Harry and I just punched him."

Evan didn't say anything at first but then he chuckled, "I don't think Caleb would be mad at you for that."

"Really?"

"Yea," He said after laughing, "If anything, he is mad at his brother. If you don't mind me asking, why did you punch your dad?"

If only he didn't have a long shift today and I wasn't so drained from being angry, I would explain to him but we both were in the mood for some sleep. I just settled on saying, "Maybe another time when your eyes aren't red as fuck."

He smirked and said, "Whenever you want to tell me, you know where I am."

I smiled and so did he. For a moment I just looked at him. He was falling asleep on me and I couldn't deny how incredibly adorable he looked. I just been adding on to the list of things that would make Evan great for Marcus. However, he would be great for any one. The guy was a hard worker and the sweetest person (other than Marcus) that I have ever met. Agreed that he made mistakes but he's trying to prove to himself that he's way more than that. He looked back at me with those half lidded blue eyes and I had to wrap up this stare down quickly because I was feeling vulnerable and I didn't want to do something I'll regret. I stood up getting my glass off the table and said, "Uhm, I think we should go to bed."

He nodded lazily getting up from the couch. He stumbled a little but I caught him by his arm. His muscle tightens underneath my touch and he snatched his arm away. His face was pale white until he realized who had touched him. This was the first time he had reacted in this way and it was maybe because he was exhausted. He relaxed and apologized, "Sorry. You just kind of scared me."
