Walking back into the house, my boyfriend, Roman, surprised me again. This time he was standing by the stairs frowning as I approached him. Then he asked, "Was that the Chris, Harry?"

I rolled my eyes at his clear jealousy but answered, "Can we not start this today Roman? I told you. He is Caleb's friend and he just wanted to see if he was home."

"Well Caleb has some really attractive friends," he stated, "And some pretty comfortable friends as well."

I stopped in front of him furrowing my eyebrows and said, "What do you mean?"

He smiled beginning to unbutton my shirt. His blue eyes looked up at me lovingly before saying, "All I'm saying is that you shouldn't be letting in all of Caleb's friends when he isn't here. You don't know them."

"I've known Chris from childhood," I told him but didn't stop him from unbuttoning my shirt. His hand touched my chest as he got it opened. Then I felt his lips on my neck as he spoke again, "I'm just saying baby, I'm just looking out for your safety."

"You don't have to worry, mmm," I moaned as he sucked on my sensitive skin. His warm hand begins to travel down to my belt, gaining the reaction I knew he was hoping for.

"I missed you so much," he said before sliding his soft tongue up my neck. He placed a kiss on my cheek before our lips met. This is how he got me to change out my furniture and I think I knew what he wanted to ask next.

"If you want me to tell Chris to stop coming over, it's not going to happen," I said stopping him and walking away. I could feel the steam coming off his body as he grabbed me by my arm and said, "Why not?"

"Chris isn't a threat," I stated, "He is a kid."

"Oh really," he sarcastically remarked, "Then why is his picture in your room? Or why did you "mistakenly" call me his name when we had an argument?"

"It was a mistake!"

"For someone that you have never fucked and is only supposed to be your brother's friend, you sure have a way of showing that you don't like him. I don't see Caleb's boyfriend's picture up in your room, so Chris must be really special."

I rolled my eyes before walking away, which didn't help because he followed me continuing his rant, "I'm serious Harry! All I ask is for you to be honest with me about who this little boy is."

"Someone you shouldn't be worried about," I yelled out causing his blue eyes to widen. He pulled back a little knowing how bad it could get when I got angry. Roman was my coworker when I first started working and one day he tested me. Let's just say we didn't start back communicating until a few months ago at a meeting.

I inhaled and exhaled before I answered him, "Roman...if you are going to be jealous of a high school student then I don't know if we are going to last. He is an old friend to me and my brother. Nothing more."

He calmed listening to my words and walked over towards me. He wrapped his arms around my neck before planting a kiss on to my lips. I should feel guilty about not telling him about kissing Chris but at the same time I didn't want to ruin anything with him. Even though when I get around Chris I feel powerless, the age difference is something that really stops me all the time. Does he only see me as one of his many conquest? Is he ready for the type of relationship I'm ready for?

I am almost 27 years old and I have everything I ever wanted. My brother is well taking care of and he has a boyfriend now that adores him but I'm all alone. Success feels great when you are going through the process but once you achieve your goal, you look back on what wasn't there. Like a partner that had your back and there to listen to your struggles. Roman was great for that because him and I have been through the same process. Now all we wanted to do was settle.
