I woke up to my mom walking in.

"Sierra, I'm going to stay at one of my friend's house for your last week of holidays so you guys can have the house to yourself. I trust you to be responsible about it. In addition, for whatever mess you make, you clean up. I don't care if it looks like The Hangover in here I want it spotless when I get back," she warned.

"Thanks so much mom. You didn't have to do this though," I assured her.

"Have fun, it's the last week of freedom until school starts again," she sighed and kissed me before walking off to her car and driving away. I suddenly felt much less tired. I jumped up and flung myself on the couch. I grabbed my phone and started dialing a number.

"Hey, Melissa," I bubbled excitedly.

"Hey, congratulations on the Miss California, no surprise though," she teased.

"Thanks so much, anyway I'm having a party tonight at eight at my house, tell your friends to come as well, bye," I sang as she said goodbye and hung up. Once I had text everyone on my contact list, I got my friends together.

"Okay, we're having a party tonight. Nick, you're on food. Macy, you're in charge of drinks and Snow and Kelly, you two are in charge of decorating," I ordered.

"And you?" Kelly asked raising her eyebrow.

"I need to sort out some other things," I stated thinking.

"Wait, how am I going to buy drinks, I don't look old enough?" Macy asked. She was right, she was short and petite.

"Okay, I'll get drinks and Macy, you help Kelly and them decorate. The decorations and lights and that are in the basement in the big wooden cupboard," I instructed as I grabbed my keys to my car. Nick hopped in as well.

We arrived at a huge store and Nick went to the food section as I went to the liquor store. I walked in hearing my heels tapping on the tiles. I was wearing what I was this morning before the beach with my dry bikini under and my makeup redone. The guy working there looked up at me and smirked. I waved slightly and grabbed a few boxes of tequila and other various alcohols. We have thousands of shot glasses at home as far as I can remember. I strolled to the counter and laid the bottles on top of it.

"Aren't you a little young to work at a liquor store?" I asked him smirking.

"Turned nineteen last year," he smirked back, looking up at me for a second before ringing up the other bottles. He rang up the last one and I paid.

"Hey, can I have your number?" he asked.

"Sorry but I'm with someone else," I lied. I wasn't really in the mood for this.

"Right, someone like you would have to be, all the good ones are taken," he sighed chuckling.

"Well, you're single," I winked teasingly as Nick came in and took my bags and I took the lighter ones carrying food.

We arrived back to find the house was unbelievably amazing. It looked almost enchanting with lanterns and fairy lights hanging up everywhere outside. There were tables set up where Nick and I set up the food and drinks. I brought one soft drink because I know some people don't like drinking alcohol. Macy, Kelly and Snow came outside with a huge cardboard box full of glow sticks.

"We got some to throw in the pool."

We broke a whole lot and tossed them in our pool, which is surrounded with a wooden deck and long deck chairs. When we were finished we threw away the box and I plugged my laptop into the speaker system. We have quite a huge area of garden before our next-door neighbours so we never have been complained about. The beach looked amazing as well which is open in front of our house. The green grass and sand mix into each other around twenty metres in front of the pool, which was at the moment glowing with all kinds of colours. The other girls and I sprinted up stairs to quickly shower and get ready.
