CHAPTER 3

Macey's POV

*A WEEK AFTER*

I woke up with the sound of knockings at my door. And when I opened the door, I saw two men in front of me. Behind them is a huge van and I was looking at them with confusion all over my face.

"Uhm, miss Palmes? We came here to move your things in to your new home. Mr. Cowell gave us all the instructions"

"Oh" that was all I can say. Wow. Too early for moving to a new house. I still can't fathom how the heck things changes in just a week.

"Uhm, I'll just fix myself, is it okay for you to wait in the living room?"

"We'll just wait here outside ma'am"

I nodded and went back inside to fix my clothes and important things.

I took a bath, and fix myself and I was ready to leave.

"What took you so long?" Louis' face surprised me when I opened my door. "Woah, I did not know you wear glasses?"

"'Cause I never wore one when I'm not at home. If you could please excuse me, I'm getting my things out. Or you can make yourself useful by helping me" I said with a straight face

He picked my things up and followed me "Why not?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why aren't you wearing glasses when you're not at home?"

"Because I don't look good with it."

"Well, I think you look pretty with or without it" I faced him and he's smiling bright.

I did not say a thing and just went to the van where the two men are waiting. We put all my things in there and when I was about to ride the van, Louis grabbed my arms and stopped me.

"What?"

"You're riding my car. Simon asked me to bring you to a party later and Lou will fix you up. It would be a shame if my new girlfriend doesn't even look like a human being"

I just rolled my eyes and didn't say a word. I am not in a mood to party and most of all not in a mood to have a fight with this cockroach beside me. I slept with a very heavy heart last night. I never imagined putting myself in to this kind of situation just to have my dream job. But atleast, it will be worth a try...

It's been a week since the contract signing, and I spent most of my time with Louis and the other lads so we can know more each other.

And Louis, he is an ass. Hmmm. Okay, he is nice and considerate sometimes, but he always annoys me. As if his happiness is making me fuming mad. I don't know what's up with him. He's so annoying sometimes.

Harry... he is a funny guy. He makes jokes that are funny but he cannot deliver it well. I am the only one who laughs at his jokes. Poor Haz. But he is sweet. I mean all of them are, but Harry is like a sweet child. Someone-you-can't-stay-mad-at type of person

Liam, he is not that serious as everyone thought. He is funny, a prankster. He loves his dear girlfriend so much. He can't stop talking about her and it's a cute thing for me. He is such a loyal guy and a gentleman. Hope all boyfriends are like him.
