Dear Diary,
It's a lovely day today but I'm not feeling so lovely. I'm waiting for Dad to come pick me up with a huge scowl on my face. I have all my stuff packed, my clothes, shoes, backpack, school books, everything. Me and mum stayed up until three o'clock packing so now I'm exhausted. Mum and I made cookies from a packet mix for me to eat at camp. I also bought some sweets. Suddenly I heard a horn honking outside. Dad was here.Mum rushed into the living room where I'm sitting. She hugged me and kissed me, telling me she loves me ect ect ect. I really wasn't in the mood. I said goodbye and hugged her stiffly. I opened the front door and walked out, waving goodbye to my old life.
"I'll miss you." I whispered quietly, a single tear rolling down my cheek as I looked at the once happy, family home, wondering how it all changed in a day. I turned away and went into the car.
