I Want To Know- Chapter 3

Diana's POV

I walked out of my dorm room and found Hannah just standing there. "Hello, Hannah. Do you need anything?" I asked her.

She perked up and started to speak very quickly. "Calm down and be simple with it" I said.

"Okay, well you know how Barbra always walks with me no matter what?" Hannah asked me. "Yes, what about it?" I answered back. "Well I can't find her, hehe."

I rubbed between my eyes and stood up straight. "So you're saying you need my help to find her?" I asked Hannah.

She nodded, and I walked down the hall with her. When walking down the hallway, Akko poked her head out of her dorm and saw me and Hannah.

"Good morning, Diana!" Akko yelled at me. I flinched and just stared at her, while walking past.

"Hey, I said good morning!" Akko shouted from behind me. "Good morning, Akko" I said while still walking.

Lotte and Sucie saw me and waved, but I just nodded my head as a sign. "I think I know where Barbra is" I told Hannah.

"Really?" Hannah looked to the left of her, which is where I was. "Yes, she's probably outside practicing" I answered.

Hannah walked to the window and pressed her face against the glass. After her eyes adjusted, she probably saw her due to shouting out.

"I see her! Thank you, Diana!" she ran down the hallway and opened the door leading outside.

Barbra saw me and waved, and I waved back. During the time I was watching both Barbra and Hannah train with their wands, I saw (Y/n) walk down my way.

No eye contact has been made just yet, so I ignored it until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hello, Diana" (Y/n) said to me. I turned around and said "Hello" back to (Y/n). "What brings you around these parts?" (Y/n) asked me.

I turned back to the window and pointed at Barbra and Hannah. "I was guiding Hannah back to Barbra since they're always together" I answered (Y/n). (Y/n) smiled and stood back. "That's nice."

I turned back in (Y/n)'s direction and took their hand. "Where are we going?" (Y/n) asked me.

I didn't answer, and only continued walking down until reaching a different part of the school with also a different outside scenery.

I pushed the doors open and sat on a bench. "Sit beside me" I patted the spot to my left. (Y/n) sat next to me and folded their hands together.

"So what did you bring me here for?" (Y/n) asked me. I stare at the ground and speak up.

"I want to know why you came to Luna Nova" I asked them. "Why I came to Luna Nova?" (Y/n) stood up more.

I brought up my face a tad to see their face, as they started explaining. "When I was a little kid, I saw a show at my hometown where Shiny Chariot performed" (Y/n) said while taking out a card.

"This is one of my most prized possessions that made me feel determined to become a witch" (Y/n) looked at me and placed it in my hand.

I examined it closer while listening to their story." After that amazing show, I wanted to become just like them because if they could make people happy, then so can I" (Y/n) said afterwards.

"So when I came here, I thought I would be gaining the opportunity of a lifetime, but I was wrong" (Y/n) said. Suddenly, I stopped staring at the card.

"You're not wrong!" I said out loud. (Y/n)'s attention turned to me with a face of shock. "I am sorry, but it's true" I said while returning the card.

I got up from the bench and averted my gaze elsewhere. "I also came to Luna Nova for the same reason" I told (Y/n).

Their eyes locked on mine while I still spoke. "When I saw Chariot, I found many reasons to become a witch" I looked up to (Y/n) ," After that performance, I started practicing day after day, but nothing worked" I finished.

"How did you become better then?" (Y/n) asked. "My family are witches as well" I said.

(Y/n) got up from the bench and put a hand on my shoulder. "They must have been very talented if you learned so quickly" (Y/n) smiled at me.

I smiled back while giving them a hug. I released them and walked back inside the building.

"Where are you going right now?" I asked (Y/n). "Oh me? Well I'm going to the Library to see if they got books on Metamorphi phocus" (Y/n) answered back.

I nodded and waved them goodbye. "Goodbye, (Y/n)" I waved. "Goodbye, Diana" they waved back. I walked back to my dorm and once again bumped into Akko.

"Good afternoon, Diana" Akko said. I waved to Akko and past by her once again.

"Why won't you give me a greeting?" Akko asked. I stopped and turned around to her.

"I'm busy" I lied to her. Akko walked back in, mumbling nosense yet again. "Oh hello, Diana" Lotte spoke.

"Hello, Lotte" I waved while heading inside my dorm. At that, I heard Akko yell "That's not fair, Diana!"
