Welcome back, everyone! Sorry for the inconvenience, I've been busy with school, projects, practicing piano, practicing my art skills. Also other books needed new chapters. Here's the well deserved chapter everyone has been waiting for!

Your POV

Wow, it's only been 2 months into this school, and I've mastered almost every spell Luna Nova has had to offer! I only ever passed one rare spell, and that was a time mastery spell. Diana of course passed possibly thousands upon thousands. Her family has been witches for many generations, longer than any other witch apart from Professor Ursula. I turn the hallway to stumble into Akko herself. "Hey, Akko" I say waving slightly. "Hi, y/n. Where ya heading?" She asked spinning around me. "Just the Library" I say walking onwards.

"The Library? Are you a bookworm?" Akko asked making a sluggish face. I laughed at her temptation of impressing me, but I shook my head. "I can't study is what you're saying?" I asked recreating her face. Akko jumped in surprise, tumbling backwards. "Careful, Akko. You don't want the bookwork to get you" I say jokingly, and proceed to walk my path. Akko's footsteps are heard starting, and fading away as I progress down the hallway in the opposite direction.

I reach my destination, and pry the doors open, dust slowly falling down onto the tile floors. All around, rows upon rows of books are glowing a slight warm color of brown along the shelves. The Library didn't seem occupied, so I decided staying here for only today would be alright. I stepped in, taking a good breath of the air. Since my books are all complete, I set them on the front desk to return while looking for more advanced books.

"Telekinesis, Telepathy, Teleportation, ah, here it is" I say finding a book based on Thermo spells. I grab that book, and scan the others a bit more. "Spell Matches, Spell Winding, Spell Twisting, oh, well that's new" I say inspecting closer a book on Spells of Healing and Binding. I'm definitely going to look into this. I grabbed a couple more books before being satisfies with my new  five selections. As I was going to check them in, a single book caught my attention.

Huh, never seen that book before. The Nature of The Unnatural? Might as well while I'm still here. I took the book, checked in the additional book as well, and headed towards a seat near the back of the Library. I decided my day would be spent wisely, so I studied a bit of each at a time, taking down notes and writing some spells down. Only two other people have passed in here, but other than that, nothing. I was just finishing on my book about Thermo spells when another person came wandering into the Library.

Out of curiosity, I gazed over to see Diana Cavendish herself, strolling through with two other books. Sitting down and not wasting time, she began reading her thin books. Well isn't that fascinating? I finished my first book, and practiced my spells on the air in the room. "Thermo frio" I whispered, and from my wand emerged a cloud the size of my head. It slowly floated up before turning more light blue. It expanded to cover the ceiling, and froze in place.

The room began feeling more cool and calming. That was a success! Of course though, I saw Diana felt the cold based on her shiver, and tried pulling through her reading. I then reread the spell I had written opposite from this one. "Thermo inferno" I whispered into the wand. The cloud began shrinking away, and instead the room color changed to a faded orange color. The room felt now warm, and no longer cold from the previous spell. Wow, that was easy!

I looked over in Diana's direction, eager to see her reaction. She simply wore a more content face while reading her book. Diana then closed it, jotting a few things down, and continuing off from the second book. "Let's see what these spells do" I speak to myself grabbing my notebook, and sitting it upright. I cleared my throat, and tapped my wand a few times on my palm. "Aure digite" I pointed my wand at an old scar near my elbow. Suddenly, the scar fades away like nothing!

Wow, these healing spells do work! I never thought such a thing existed unlike this. I kept practicing the other spells on various items such as my own shoe or a statue in the corner of the Library that was now a Butterfly rather than a Gargoyle thanks to me. As I was heading out to set the books back in the shelves, I see Diana practicing her spells on an apple she brought on her desk. "Lunar moonata" she said as the apple glowed a white color from inside.

Woah, a light amplification spell? That's pretty useful for when you don't have a flashlight or are running out of a magic source. I should remember that one. I looked for new books that intrigued me as I was running out of ideas of what to learn. 'Oh, well there is this book' I think out loud, dusting off the cover of the thick book. "Lunar and Solar Power" I read aloud. Hm, well it wouldn't hurt to try something new, now would it? I decide to sit near the front, saving time.

I sat about three tables across from Diana, just sitting on the edge of the table. I open the book, set aside my notebook for notes, and began reading. Every once in a blue moon, Diana would look up from her book to see me in my own world of imagination and magic. Other times, she would cast a spell I haven't even heard of, and end up with my jaw on the ground. That would earn a snicker from her, and have Diana return to her few pages.

As I wrote down some spells and tips, I looked up to see Diana holding a balloon literally made of water on her bare hands. I had a quizzical look before she shaped it into a star. I stare in astonishment before quietly applauding, and watching her change the form. She then made a serious face, and made a more difficult shape. A dragon formed, and flied around. I watch it take flight, making bubble like sounds as it flap its wings. 'That's so cool' I thought in my head.

Once I got back into reading the book, I see from the corner of my eye a water bubble float in front of my book. I set my book to face up like a wall, and hide it from Diana. The bubble formed into a heart, and I look back up to see Diana hide her face with her book. I smile in defeat, and decided to tinker with the bubble. Trying to remember the words she say, I use the spell "Luna moonata", and summon a small light inside the bubble, causing the water to glow a bright blue.

I sent the now glowing water heart back to Diana with my wand, watching it bump her book softly. It almost popped, but Diana caught it quick enough. Her eyes were wide with wonder. Her mouth agape. "How did you do that?" Diana whispered across the tables. I shrugged in defeat. "I don't know myself" I say with a blank look. She looks back at it, and smiles before an idea came. Diana spoke "Arctic Frio", freezing the heart with the light still inside, and passed it on.

As it reached my table, I looked over my book in shock. How in the heck did she freeze a light on the inside? I didn't know thermo spells worked like that! If that's the case, I'm gonna end this competition in one move. I carved out the heart with my wand, and made a chain out from the extra ice. And now the final touch. "Goldo moxo" I casted, and a gold case covered over the heart, light piercing through the gold walls. Now it glowed more with a Golden color.

I did the same as before, and sent it floating back to Diana good as new. The now golden necklace was on top of her desk, just behind her book. The sound of the chain interrupted her thoughts, and Diana placed her book down gently. What she saw blew her mind as I could see. A sparkly gold necklace was glowing a warm gold color in front of her. I would understand if she had no reaction, it was too perfect! Diana then got up from her desk with the necklace in hand.

Diana made her departure out of the Library, not before saying "Thank you y/n", and then leaving entirely. "You're welcome, Diana" I returned, packing my belongings, and then making my way out as well. I looked at the clock, noticing the time was 9:15. It's around that time where I should rest. I turned the opposite way Diana did, and made my way back to my dorm room. Not wasting a second, I placed my books on my shelf, notebook in my drawer, and pencil in a pouch.

I changed into my f/c pajamas, fixed my bed to sleep, and crawled onto the bed. "Midnight rest" I chanted with my wand as the light dimmed into seeping darkness. I've learned so much today, and it was mostly thanks to Diana for showing me those tricks. Today was an enchanting day.
