Part 2 | running away

Jaime was stood facing the bathroom mirror feeling the bruises on his face that were from the other night.

The other night

It was 2:43 at night and Jaime was trying to jam the front door open. His dad always locks it so Jaime cant leave. "why are you making so much noise!?!?' His dad yelled. He stomped through and saw Jaime. "what are you doing!! Your not going anywhere!" Jaime panicked as his dad ran over and grabbed him by the neck, chocking him this time. "your just like your mother!!" He started. "thinking you can go were ever you want when ever you want!!!" Jaime could hardly breath. His dad dropped him on the ground. "your mother Was an idiot." Jaime was angrier than he ever was before. He clenched his fists and let out a rage he never thought he had. "she was more than you EVER WILL BE!!! She..she cared!! And not just for me! I HATE YOU! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" His dad was shocked, at first. Then he was extremely angry. He grabbed Jaime and dragged him to his room and locked the door. "let me out!!!" Jaime screamed.. But he didn't listen. "your too scared to grow up! This will teach you never to disobey me!" He yelled through the door to Jaime.

He managed to pick the lock with an old nail from one of the floorboards from his room. He had decided to run away. He grabbed a photo of his mum that he hid under his mattress, opened the window, and jumped out. There was no going back now.
