Part 17 | decisions

Jaime and Lilith were in their room talking about the whole baby situation. "Were not prepared at all.." Lilith said, here voice shaky and pacing around the room. "I mean, were is it even going to sleep!" Jaime squeezed her hand in re-assurance. "Don't stress. We'll figure this out." Lilith sighed. "I'm just worried. This is all new to me." She sat on the bed next to Jaime. She leant her head on Jaime's shoulder. "I'm scared, Jaime." She whimpered. He kissed Lilith on the forehead. "I know, I'm here for you, no matter what." Jaime whispered calmingly to her.

Afew months had gone by, And Jaime and Lilith were running out of time. Jaime was in bed, laying wide awake. He looked down at Lilith, and in his surprise she was awake too. "Cant sleep?" He asked. She didn't reply. He quickly kissed her on the forehead and sat up. He looked at the time on his phone. It was 2:46 am. Lilith looked at him, still lying on the bed. "Jaime.." She said. Jaime looked over to her. "I.. I..." She stuttered. She gaged. Lilith ran to the bathroom and puked in the toilet. Jaime followed her. "Lilith.. Are you alright?!" He said worried for her. Must be morning sickness.. He thought to himself. Lilith stood up. "I'm getting an abortion." She said. "WHAT!" Jaime yelled. "What do you mean 'WHAT!' " Lilith snapped. Tears started dripping down her face. "I can't do this Jaime!" She cried out to him. Jaime held her hand.. but she pulled away. "Lilith.." Jaime sighed. "Just leave me alone!" Lilith screamed. She was having some sort of panic attack. Suddenly the bathroom door opened. It was Lilith's brother Abel. "What's going on in here!?!" He said rubbing his eyes. He was probably still half asleep. "You're going to wake up Phoenix!" Phoenix was Abels daughter. Lilith stormed out slamming the door behind her. "What was that all about?!" Abel asked. "Has she told you?" Jaime said ignoring Abels question. Abel looked confused and worried. " she's pregnant.." He continued. "WHAT! Why didn't she tell me! This is great news!" Abel said in joy. "But she's.. She's getting an abortion." Abels heart dropped. He loved kids, especially if there was going to be a cousin for his daughter. "We'll we have to convince her not to!!" Abel confidently told him. "I don't think it's going to be easy.. but I agree with you. I never planned on having kids, but I don't want her to go through with an abortion." Jaime agreed.

After hours the next day of convincing Lilith to keep the baby, Jaime and Lilith had been living life normally now that Lilith is confident that she can raise their baby.
