Part 6 | new baby

8 months later

The time was 1:45 am and Asher received a worried phone call from Ciara. "Asher!" She said. "what is it Ciara.. Its quarter to 2!!" Asher yawned. "Charlie was rushed into hospital!!" Ciara yelled. "why?" He asked. "we think its the baby! You need to go there!" Asher had no words. "Asher..?!" She continued. "ASHER!". He suddenly hung up. "sorry.." He whispered to himself going back to sleep.

Charlie returned home with a little baby girl cradled in her arms. Jaime came over and met his daughter for the first time. "her name is Noelle." Charlie told Jaime. He picked up his daughter for the first time. He didn't really know what to do, so it was a little awkward. "it was hard being on my own." She continued sitting on the bed in her room. Jaime turned around with a confused expression. "what.." He said angrily. "Asher never came.. I think he might be onto us." Jaime didn't look happy. He put down the baby and went downstairs were Asher was. "are you serious?" He yelled at Asher. "about what?" Asher replied. "you really left her on her own?!" Jaime said. "what was I supposed to do?" Asher yelled at Jaime. "maybe be a good boyfriend and actually show up?!?!" Jaime replied. "I know something happened between you and Charlie, So stop lying and admit it for once!!!" Asher said, getting physically aggressive. He stood up and tightened his fist. "your too scared to grow up for once." Asher said pointing his finger at Jaime. It reminded Jaime of what his dad told him all those years ago.

"your too scared to grow up! This will teach you never to disobey me!"

Jaime got really angry. "what did you just say?" He said walking closer and closer to Asher. "your too scared to grow up and admit your mistakes!!" Asher looked him in the eyes. "She told me you had a one night stand!!!" Asher bellowed.
