Part 11 | bad deal

3 months later

Noelle woke up, sick, as usual. Her bump had started to show, and she didn't want anyone to know. She bought a bunch of baggy clothes to hide it in. She got home and found Jaime's roommate Kylie Sass in her room, on her phone. "what are you doing with my phone?!" Noelle yelled grabbing the phone. She looked at it and saw the texts between her and Carrie. "So what did the test say??" Carrie had sent. "positive. I cant believe this!" Noelle had sent back. "well you have to tell the father!" Carrie replied. "I'll do it tonight. Can you please come?" Noelle asked. "sure. We'll meet up at 6:00 pm." Carrie sent. Noelle was in shock. Kylie knew. "I was looking for your phone to play games, but when I turned it on the messages between you and Carrie were on the screen." Kylie said "when is it due?" Noelle wasn't exactly sure, but she knew it was soon. "Uhh.. Pretty soon.." Noelle told her. Kylie had an idea. "are you..planning on..keeping it?" Kylie asked. "no way!! I can't take care of a baby!" Kylie had a grin on her face. "why don't I take it?" She said. "I've always wanted kids of my own, maybe this is my chance to start a family." "you would do that, for me?" Noelle asked in surprise. "of corse!" Kylie said. "then we have a deal."Noelle told her. "but please, don't tell my dad. It would be too much of a shock for him." "the one time you want to spend time with him you end up getting pregnant. Don't worry, you can trust me." Kylie said as they hugged.

Meanwhile..

Lilith, who was a past interest of his, had started dating Jaime because of Noelle. Before the party Noelle, Jaime, Akira and Lilith went out for dinner. Noelle was jealous of the friendship between Lilith and Akira, so she influenced Jaime to hook up with her. It ended up working. "So Lilith.. How are things at home?" Jaime asked. "good..." Lilith replied nodding her head. There was an awkward silence. "I'm just going to ask... Why were you so afraid of commitment before we started dating..officially..?" Lilith blurted out. Jaime's smile faded. "oh.. You want to know about.. That..?" He said. "I mean.. If were going to get more serious.. Down the line.. I would like to know." Lilith replied. "umm..ok..well..." Jaime started. He paused to think about what happened. He started having flashbacks of the only times that were good in his childhood. Times with his mother. He was remembering how his dad used to abuse them both.

*Flashback*

"NO! Let GO OF ME!!!" A voice yelled from the kitchen. Jaime was upstairs in his room. He could hear his mum and dad fighting. "Stop it!!" The voice yelled again. Jaime's mum ran upstairs and grabbed Jaime, his dad shortly behind. "JAIME!" His mum shouted. She was sobbing and had bruises on her face. "STAY AWAY!" She yelled at his dad. He slapped her, which made Jaime cry. "SHUT UP YOU STUPID BOY!" He bellowed.

"Jaime...Jaime..? Jaime!" Lilith shouted. Jaime came back to reality and realised that he had been silent for minutes. He looked at her. She had a confused expression. "I....I.." Jaime started. "you what?" She said. "I've got to go." Jaime said. He left in a rush. Lilith was surprised and confused. Jaime arrived at his apartment and went to his bedroom. He dropped onto the bed and and started drinking a bottle of alcohol.
