So, because I only got one review for a while answering my question, and because later on I got one other comment, this chapter will be the kids taking a break from reading the book and getting some exercise.
I would've updated sooner; however, I was waiting to see if I'd get more answers. Thank you addyh13 and EmmaBloom2006 for answering my questions.
A couple of days ago, on one of my earlier chapters, a Guest told me to correct my grammatical errors. Would you please give me examples of these errors? If you don't, I can't fix them.
Disclaimer: I don't own Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
--------------------------START OF CHAPTER-----------------------------
With Emma and Fiona
The two girls were walking around the outside of the house, sometimes in silence and other times talking about the stuff happening in the book.
Right now, they were walking in silence, both of them thinking about the book.
Emma was thinking, 'Abe really is gone, isn't he? It's going to be really hard to face him if he comes to visit.'
Fiona was thinking, 'Poor Emma. Not only does she find out that the man she loves will get married, have kids, and have a grandchild, but he's going to end up getting killed by a hollow. At least we know that Emma and Millard are alive. I just hope that Hugh is too.'
"Do you think that the rest of you are alive?" Emma asked suddenly, breaking the silence.
Fiona shook her and sighed. "I don't know. But I hope we are."
"I mean," Emma started, "How likely is it that we're dead? Bronwyn and Victor are too strong, Claire and Olive are protected by The Bird and Bronwyn, You and Hugh won't let the other die, Millard is too smart, and Horace, Enoch, and I are too stubborn."
Fiona nodded. "That's all true, but hollows and wights always seem to have a way."
Emma smiled sadly. "Yes, because they managed to kill Abe. Did we ever suspect that they would ever be able to kill him?"
Fiona chuckled. "Abe's like you, too stubborn to die."
Emma's sad smile fell. "But he ends up dying anyway, so it doesn't really matter does it?"
Fiona sighed. "I guess not."
Silence fell between the two. They looked around the yard and Olive and Claire's laughter drew them to look at the two of them with Bronwyn. "I wonder how those three are taking this all." Emma said.
"I hope not too hard," Fiona said. "Claire and Olive are the youngest and Bronwyn has a big heart."
Emma bit her lip. "She does, doesn't she? However, I don't think that'll do well for her right now."
Fiona looked at her curiously. "Why?"
Emma swallowed. "Well, we're reading about our future where things could've gotten even worse than how things are now."
"Let's just hope you're wrong about that." Fiona looked at her.
Emma had a mock look of offence. "How dare you? I'm never wrong!"
Fiona smirked slightly. "Really? Because I'm positive that your future self is convinced that Jacob is a wight, even though we all know that he's not."
Emma sniffed. "I'm talking present, not future."
Fiona laughed. "Sure."
