Chapter 10: What Had Happened to Her

"This is Steve Rogers" he said gesturing to the guy who saved me.

I looked at him and he looked at me I held his gaze for a moment and then he looked away.

"I am Nick Fury"he said, he sounded like a very seriouse person who did not get out enough or laugh.

"Hi" I said and looked down at the floor at my boots

"Thanks for the change of clothes"

"No problem" he said.

Steve POV

I held her gaze for a moment when she looked my way. she looked totally diffrent from when she had first come.

I tried hard not to blush as I looked away and hoped she wouldn't notice, and why should I be liking her?
I don't know why.
I stared out the window of the hellicarrier at the clouds.
I wondered what type of a person she really was when she Didnt have her mind controlled.

She sat down on the opposite side from me and looked out the window.

"Ok so, here's the deal, I'm willing to make you an offer... You can stay here on the hellicarrier as long as you will go on missions and help out around here, how does that sound?" Nick asked

She rubbed her chin for a few seconds and said
"Yeah, I'll stay here" she said "thank you"

"Alright then, Cap could you show her around?"

"Yeah, follow me" I said as I stood up, gosh it felt like it got warmer in here.

She stood up to follow me. I walked out the door and into the hall I heard the door close behind us.

Suddenly she had me in a hug.
"Thank you, thank you so much, you don't know how much pain you saved me from"
