chapter 34

(Allie's POV) 

I was scheduled today to have the miscarried baby removed. 

I have been an emotional wreck but I'm lucky to have Charles there with me.    

I sat up and cried in my hands. Immediately Charles sat up and embraced me in a long hug. 

I cried into him and her rubbed my back. 

"It's going to be ok, baby." Char comforted. 

 "Thank you, babe." I calmed down. 

Charles got up and woke up Reagan. I got up and put up my hair in a bun.  

I smiled at the memory with Charles where her talked about my "whoo-bun"  

I sighed and Reagan came in and hugged me. 

"I love you." Reagan said as she snuggled into me.

"I love you too, sweetie." I hugged her back. 

Charles packed up the car and we got in the car. 

We dropped Reagan off at Alli's and then we were off to the hospital. 

We got to the hospital and I started to tear up. 

Charles walked in front of me and put his hands on my face. 

"Everything is going to be just fine, baby." Charles leaned in and gave me a big kiss. 

"I love you." I cried into his chest. 

"I love you too." 

We hugged for a long time until we were going to be late. We walked into the hospital hand in hand.

"Mrs. Trippy?" The nurse called. 

I kissed Charles and gave him a long hug until I walked into the surgery room. 

I changed into the gown and took a deep breath. The baby had died 3 months ago so we have been waiting a while for this. 

(A/N: I don't know anything about this so I'm not sure if this is accurate or not.)  

They laid me down on the table and put me to sleep. I woke up to the sound of Charles crying and doctors cheering. 

(Charles POV)  

I was called by a doctor to come into Allie's room. 

Confused, I followed him into the room. 

"T-the baby. I'ts a-alive!" I stuttered. 

I looked over and saw a beautiful itty-bitty baby laying in an incubator.

"Oh my god." I started crying and walked over to the place where the baby was laying. 

I walked over to Allie and kissed her forehead. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked confused. 

"Why are you crying?" Allie asked. 

"The baby is alive. They said it was a miracle. They couldn't find the heartbeat but it was there. They cut you open to take it out and saw a baby lying there breathing!" 

"Oh my god Charles!" 

"The baby is perfect." 

I smiled at Allie and kissed her forehead. 

"I love you." I kissed her again

"I love you too."

2. I am going out of town from the 21-31 of July so I won't be updating then. :'( I will try to update one last time before I leave but yeah! Be prepared!
