chapter 38

A/N: This is the last chapter until I get back from vacation unless I find some time to update which I doubt it. I will be on an island soo...But yeah! I get back on the 31 so stay tuned for what happens next! I will only be writing 50 chapters in this story but I WILL be making a sequel! Yay! Anyways I love you guys! <33)

(Charles POV) 

I was shaking. I was so nervous about the next words that were going to come out of the doctors mouth. 

"Charles and Allie, Aiden has slipped into a coma. Since he is so little, it will be a miracle if he wakes up. I will bring him in here but if anything happens call a nurse right away."   

Allie turned her head into my chest and sobbed. I wrapped my arms around her. 

"It's going to be ok babe." I said tearing up. 

"Shhhh." I kept calming her down. 

Se fell asleep in my arms and they brought Aiden in. 

I looked over at the sweet baby. 

I put my hand in the incubator and grabbed his perfect little hand. 

"Hey little man." I smiled at him. 

"I'm your daddy. I know you can't hear me, but we love you very very much. And we always will. You have an amazing mommy who loves you very much and a pretty awesome sister too." I chuckled. 

"I love you so much baby boy." I kissed my hand and put it back on his delicate little hand. 

I pulled up a chair and watched him. 

If anything was going to happen, I was going to be there.  

At about 4am Reagan woke up. She walked up to the chair I was sitting on and leaned into me. She hugged me and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Hey sweetie." I rubbed her back. 

"How is he?" She asked. 

"He's in a coma. They don't think he'll wake up." I said starting to cry. 

(Reagan's POV) 

Dad started to cry. I hated seeing him like this. He didn't deserve it. 

I sat up and put my hands on his shoulders.  

"Dad it is going to be ok. If there is one thing I know about you it's that you will do whatever you can to save the ones you love. And I couldn't ask for a better dad."  I started to tear up. 

"I know this is not what you asked for. And I know that everything is all messed up right now but we can get over it. I believe in you guys. I believe in Aiden. And dad trust me, in the end, it will be better. And if it's not better, it's not the end." I leaned in and gave my dad the tightest hug ever.  

"I love you so much Reagan. I don't know what I would do without you. Thank you so much." My dad whispered.  

(Charles POV) 

"I love you too." Reagan whispered back. 

And after that it all happened in slow motion. 

I looked over at the bed where Aiden was. 

His eyes opened. And he let out the loudest cry ever. 

Reagan jumped and looked over at him and smiled. 

She put her hand on the side of the bed and whispered," I knew it." 

Allie ran over to the bed and started crying tears of joy. 

I pressed the nurse button over and over again until at least 4 nurses burst into the room. 

"It's a miracle!" One of the nurses screamed. 

I ran over and gave Allie the tightest hug ever. 

"I love you so much!" I said to her crying. 

"I love you too!" She replied. 

 Reagan came over and joined our hug. 

We were a family again. And everyone was ok. 

-2 Weeks Later- 

Today we are taking Aiden home. 

The doctors said that he will always be a little shorter and underweight because of his situation. But it was ok because Reagan is 13 and she is only 5 feet and 85lbs. 

Reagan and I left the hospital a few times to get Aidens room together.   

We put his room in Chaz's old room. 

It was a bitter sweet moment but I think it was the right choice. 

We packed up all of our things and got into the car. Allie satin the back with Chaz and we drove to the house.  

(Allie's POV) 

We arrived at the house and I carefully unbuckled our perfect baby boy. 

I picked him up and gave Charles a kiss. 

He opened the door and I walked into the house. 

"Here is your home baby boy." I whispered to Aiden.  

"This is where you're going to grow up." I said as I walked into the living room. 

"I love you so much." I gave him a kiss. 

Charles walked into the room and he took Aiden from me. 

Charles held Aiden close and gave me a kiss. 

"You're our little miracle."
