Juliet, Rose and You

If he gives you flowers,
build a garden for his eyes to see;
filled of different roses that become
witnesses of your everlasting love
as they grow, bloom and multiply.
Cherish them like they are your children
and beauty of the petals must linger.
Give him the chance to be the happiest man
and make his eyes shine the most
through the lovely colors
you plant to his life.

If he buys you food,
cook to pleasure his taste buds.
The taste as pleasant as the feeling
whenever he gently ruffles your hair
and rubs your back for an hour,
and the desserts as sweet
as his random childish hugs and kisses
on your cheek that makes your body
awake every cold dawn;
when the new light reminds him first
that 'tis a new day to love you
and taste your love.

If he wipes your tears,
his precious laugh and smile,
be the reason behind those.
Slay the warriors bringing fireballs
of pain and distress to throw at him
with your blinding glow
which is too powerful for them,
but enough to keep him safe
and his mind function in serene.
From the pouring sadness
be the firm coat that protects
his sanity― and the ship that brings him
to his desired destination
as you cross the dangerous ocean.

If he can die for you
like Romeo who was terrified not
of choosing death― if that way
forever he could be with Juliet
or how Jack let his body suffer in
the deadly and bone-chilling water
yet still hoping Rose could live,
and if you can be like Juliet
who could do insane things,
deemed life meaningless without Romeo
or Rose who jumped off the lifeboat,
refused to be saved alone
without Jack next to her,
then you deserve each other;
because darling, love― means devotion
and nobody shall take it lightly.

It shall not only about him
nor only about you.
