Memories with Matt part 1

I look over at the campfire. I knew Lukas like campfires. There was no sign of Lukas. I climbed higher into the tree, but still no Lukas. I got tired and sit on a thick branch.
"I give up.. you win this one. You can come out if you want." I say.
I feel the wind get stronger.
Crack.
The branch snaps.
I fall off the tree but somebody catches me.
"Guess branches aren't made for two people." Lukas says as he cups his hand around my face and kisses me.
He quickly lets go and looks at me.
"Guess what?" I ask.
"What?"
"I think Dr Mortarez died. Got crushed by a crane." I say.
"Huh.. that's weird." Lukas says.
"What is?"
"I saw him two hours ago." Lukas says.
"What? How the actual fuck is that possible?" I ask.
"He was being recruited by one of the demon trainers." Lukas says calmly.
My eyes widen and panic floods my eyes.
"I um.. I was joking.." Lukas says and he smiles.
I sigh of releif.

"You've got something.. on your face." He says.
Lukas brushes his thumb over my lip.
"What's on my face?" I ask.
"Hmm.. there is something on your lips." He says.
I touch my lips with my finger.
"No.. want to know what it is?" He asks.
"Okay, what is it?" I ask.
"My lips." He says and he wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me.
I blush in the kiss. Lukas slowly pulls away and smiles  widely as his eyes are completly grey. They had a sort of glister in them. They where sparkling.
"Did you know? I am looking at the most beautiful person in the world right now?" He asks and looks straight into my eyes.
Butterflies where tumbling inside my stomache.
"I-I have something for you." I say as I reach into my pocket and pull out a knife. I slowly hand it to him.
What? You taught I was going to try and kill him?
"Do you.. like it?" I ask.
"Holy shit Jess.. it looks awesome."
Lukas smiles and hugs me, making sure to put the knife away before hugging me. Afterwards we just sit down against a tree and cuddle. His hands where soft and warm. I rested against his shoulder and.. I almost fell asleep.
"Jess?"
Brandons voice enters my ears.
Lukas immediatly gets up and stands infront of me.
I stand up behind Lukas.
Brandon hesistantly looks at Lukas.
Lukas' eyes completly focus on Brandon.
"I'm.. sorry?" He says.
"You better be. Get the fuck away from her." Lukas says.
"Lukas.. calm down a bit." I say.
"What?" He says as his head snaps to me.
Brandon frowns.
"I'm sorry.." he says as he reaches behind his back.
Lukas growls.
"Dont fucking dare." Lukas growls.
Brandon pulls out a peice of paper amd hands it to me.
"Uhh.. Emilia told me to give it to you." Brandon says.
"Thank you Brandon." I say.
I open the paper up.

Hi Jess. I'm off to the place people call heaven. I was happy to find you again.
Stay safe! -  Emilia.

I tuck the paper into my pocket.
Brandon frowns at Lukas again.
Lukas' eyes are completly white.
"Uh.. Lukas?" Brandon says confusedly.
Lukas punches Brandon in the face and Brandon winces. He falls to the ground and scrambles backwards.
"Lukas, stop!" I say.
Lukas growls and pulls out the knife I gave him. I hold Lukas back.
"No. He's dead to me." Lukas says.
"No Lukas!" I say.
Brandon gets up and grabs one of my arms.
"Make him get a time--"
Time stops.
Lukas isnt moving at all.
A rift opens and Matt hops out.
"Hello again." Matt says.
Matt laughs hysterically.
"You know what time it is!" He says pointing to Brandon holding my arm.
"Memory time!" Matt says.
"No!" I say angrily.
I hated going through peoples memories. It's the worse.
"Yes. And you get to choose between 5 people." Matt says.
"We have.. Anne's saddest memory number 3.
Brandon's happiest memory.
Leons saddest memory.
Montengra's happiest memory and Max's saddest memory." Matt says checking them off his list.
"I don't want to pick anything.." I say.
"You HAVE to pick something. I can't end time unless you've picked and watched 3 memories." Matt says.
"Whatever.. pick for me then.." I say.
Matt smirks.
"Okay then. Leon, Anne and Brandon." Matt says.
"Fine, let's do this." I say.
"Okay.  Who you wanna start with?" Matt asks.
"Any one. Let's just get this done with."  I reply.
"Ugh.. lets do Leon first." He says.
I nod.
"You ready?" He asks me.
"Yep." I say.
Everything turns black.
I open my eyes.
Leon and his mum are sitting in a small room.
"Mum?"
"Yes sweetie?"
"Do you want to play with the cars?"
"Sure"
Leon's mother smiles. She kneels down next to Leon and grabs a white car.
Leon smiles.
"Brrroooom!" He says.
Leon's mother laughs.
"Oh Leon! Im way faster than you!" She says.
"No you aren't!"
"Yes I am!"
"Wanna bet?"
"Sure."
Leon pushes his car foward and it goes far quite a bit.
His mum pushes her car softly so it lands behind Leon's  car.
Leon laughs and hugs his mother
"Haha! Told you id win!" He says.
"Hmm.. you beat me." His mother says.
A dark presence surrounds the room as the lights flicker. I look up at the lights and then at Leon and his mother again.

A demon appears behind the two. He pulls out a gun. Leon looks up. His eyes widen as he  backs away from his mother. The demon shoots the mother in the head and blood splatters everywhere. I felt really bad for the  mother. I hopes the demon wasnt abke to see me. Luckily he didnt seem to notice me. Leon starts to sob. Everyhthing turns black as his sobs slowly fade.
"You okay? Need some time?" Matt asks.
"Im fine." I reply
