Aiko looks at my tail and touches it.
"It's pretty.."
He stares at me while touching and petting my tail. This is uncomfortable..
Aiko calmly rubs his hand over every single scale on my tail. He licks his lips as he sits down on the sand, continuously petting my tail. He stares at me.
I was starting to feel very uncomfortable.
I couldn't do anything about it.
He had magical powers that could make me nauseous. Besides, I am mostly vulnerable with a tail out of water.
Aiko grabs a bit of sand and rubs it gently over my tail. He looks into my eyes deeply. I was feeling both uncomfortable and creeped out.
Aiko stick his tongue out and licks my tail.
"Tastes like fish." He mumbles.
"Why did you do that?" I ask, clearly freaked out.
"Because you taste nice. Want to taste me?"
Aiko sticks out his hand.
"Go ahead.. lick it.." He says.
"No thank you." I reply.
"Oh.. Okay.. "
He carefully lays his head on my tail.
"Sleepy.." He mumbles
I feel paralyzed as he touches my tail with both of his hands. He carefully raises one of his hands further up my tail.
Aiko closes his eyes.
"Sleepy... Go sleep.. Jess.."
"I'm not tired." I say.
He digs his nails into my tail and I feel a sharp pain.
"Well you're not leaving either."
My tail starts turning pitch black and I immediately start to feel dizzy and nauseous.
"S-stop what are you d-doing." I say shaking.
"Please.. I just want to be your friend.. just sleep."
I grow drowsy. I quickly try not to fall asleep but Aiko's magic was making me more and more tired.
"Goodnight Jess. Nobody will know our little secret." He says calmly.
"Our little secret?" I ask.
Aiko falls asleep.
The black on my tail slowly fades but I was still getting more and more tired.
The last thing I remember seeing is Aiko looking very peaceful in his sleep, cuddling against my tail, before I passed out.

I wake up, with the comfortable feeling of a soft mattress below me.
My eyes open. I'm in my own bed wrapped up in my blankets.
The smell of bacon fills my nose.
Had I dreamt that?
"Tadpoles! I'm gay! I'm so gay!"
I could hear him in the kitchen.
I grab my glasses from my bedside and wear them.
I change and look into my mirror.
I breath in and out deeply and then walk into the kitchen.
Shirley and Ethan are sitting at the table.
"Do you want- tadpoles- bacon with your eggs, Ethan?" Aiko asks Ethan.
"Sure." He replies.
Aiko looks calm like nothing happened.
"I-im  going to school early.." I say.
I hand Shirley a spare house key.
I quickly grab my hand and walk out of the house. I run to school, wanting to get away from Aiko. I was still very creeped out about everything.
Zachary walks past me and glares at me. His wrist and hand are in a cast.
I ignore him and continue walking.
James leaves his office and looks at me.
"Jess! Just the person I wanted to talk to!"
"Hm?"
"I want you to come to my office during lunch time. It's very serious."
"Alright."
James looks at me with disappointment in his eyes.
I knew I was in trouble.
James walks back into his office.
I crack my knuckles in anger at myself. Then sadness flooded my emotions. Julia enters the building.
"Guess. what." She tells Zachary.
She walks towards him.
"What?" He says.
She starts whispering but I could hear her.
"I was at the beach last night.. And I think I saw Jess and Aiko doing some shit.."
I froze. Oh gosh.. She saw that..
"What kind of shit?" He asks.
"Like.. Sex.."
That's a lie.
Zachary laughs.
"I knew they had something." He says
NOTHING IS BETWEEN ME AND AIKO.
"They're into some kinky shit though. Jess was in some mermaid tail or some shit." Julia says.

Shit fuck fuck fuck shit.

"What a slut. I'm telling EVERYBODY this." Zachary whispers.
"I even took some pictures." Julia says.
Julia show him her phone.
"Can you like, print that?" He asks Julia.
"Yeah.. why?"
"I want EVERYBODY to see that Jess is a big slut." Zachary says.
"Don't you think that's a bit too much?" Julia says.
"Her stupid boyfriend broke my wrist. She deserves it."
Julia nods.
"Oh and find out where she lives. I want to kill that boyfriend."
"Okay big bro."
The bell rings and they go to class. I don't follow them though instead I grabbed my books and ran. Tears flooded my ears as I run out of the school door.
I could hear footsteps running after me.
"Jess wait! You forgot your lunch at home!"
Aiko catches up with me.
"I'm not going to school!"
My tears slowly turn into sobs.
Aiko twitches and catches up with me. I stop at the forest, feeling tired.
"Can't you see what you have done to Me?! I'm in trouble!" I say.

"I'm so sorry!"
"Sorry can't fucking fix this Aiko!"
Aiko looks into my eyes.
"I-im so sorry.. I didn't- I didn't rape you. Please understand me." He says desperately.

"I'm in trouble with everybody, even the principal, Aiko."
"But that's not thanks to Me! That's Lukas' fault! You should be accusing HIM of this."

"Don't you dare bring Lukas into this. You where the idiot that was stupid enough to follow Julia again." I say angrily

Aiko looks down at the ground for a few seconds. He looks back up at me with eyes fill of anger.

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! FOR THIRTEEN FUCKING YEARS I'VE TRIED TO MAKE FRIENDS THIRTEEN YEARS. THEY ALWAYS SENT ME AWAY. NOBODY LIKED ME BECAUSE OF MY TOURETTES! I tried so hard Jess!"

"Well you aren't helping! You got me into trouble because me and Lukas tried to protect you!"

"No. Julia walked up to ME. She asked me to come with her."

"Doesn't help the fact that you still didn't help me at the beach EVEN after you got me into trouble."

"Night trance Jess.. I'll explain later.. but please.. believe me.. Julia DID ask me to follow her."
"Why would she do that?"
"I don't know, maybe because she hates me  like EVERYBODY else."
"I don't hate you.."

"Jess, I can control my tourettes, but NOBODY on this planet can control a night trace. And perhaps its just that you dont understand. But it might be that you just dont WANT to understand."
Aiko turns around.
"Im out of here, but dont be shocked if I come back tonight."

A sudden sadness falls onto me. I wanted to be alone and cry. I run to the nearest tree and climb it. I sob my heart out. It felt like my life was over. Aiko tics. His head twitches. He sighs and sita below the tree.
"No. Tadpole." He says to himself.
He gets up. He tries to walk away but he seemed to find it difficult, like he was attached to the tree. He looks up at me with tears in his eyes.
"I taught I had real friends."
Aiko walks away slowly from the tree.

The soft sound of sizzling leaves fill my ears and my sobs fill the silence. I was thinking at that moment. I was never going back to school. Ive hurt many people aswell as myself.

"P-please come down"
A soft voice fills my ears. I remove my hands from my face. Aiko is sitting on the branch next to me.
"Aiko.. if we fall off.."
"Then we'll die. Isnt that what you want? For me to be dead? All I do is bring you pain and misery. So go ahead, push me off."

"No Aiko. I don't want you dead."
Aiko moves his hand to my face. He brushes some hair out of my face, his fingers slowly touching my face.
"Why are you so drawn to me Aiko? I was so mean to you."
"I-I dont know.. I am very attracted to you Jess but.. I accept the fact that you love somebody else. All I want to do is just .. cuddle with you all day."

I have to admit, I did cringe a bit at the taught of cuddling all day with Aiko.
Suddenly, Aiko's branch snaps.
"Aiko!" I scream.
Aiko falls flat onto the ground.
I jump off the tree and go next to Aiko.
His eyes are fluttered shut.
"Aiko?!?"
I shake Aiko and he still doesnt wake up.
I open my bag and find my water bottle. My hands start shaking. I open it and put water on his face.
"Aiko wake up!!"
What had I done?
You see Jess?
You dont belong here.
You are only constantly ruining lives.
You should run away.
Raven should have killed you that day because you are so utterly useless.
Aiko slowly opens his eyes.
Clouds shift over the sun and everything goes dark.
"Solar eclipse.. its pretty.. it reminds me of you, Jess."
Aiko looks up at me. He takes a deep breath and stands up.
He grabs my hand.
"I need to show you something."
