Process for designing the members' Warrior Cats designs:
Appearances: This was determined differently for some members, but the majority of them were determined the same.
First, I went through each Era BTS had and recorded their hair colors, excluding their current hair colors. After I had done so, I searched online for a generator I could use to determine which Era each member would have their pelt colors coordinate with.
I found a spinning wheel I could use and input all of the Eras so that fate would decide what color each member would be. I used a number generator as well, but that was used later.
I tried to make sure none of the members had the same Era (save one match because I didn't want all of them to be the same color), and they each turned out pretty well. (I'm not exactly sure HOW the Eras were sorted and if they're correct. I searched it up and just went with it, so sorry if they are wrong or whatever.)
Their Eras and Color: Jin - We are Bulletproof (brown) Suga - Save Me (blonde) J-Hope - BST (ginger) Namjoon - I Need U (blonde) Jimin - BST (silver) Taehyung - No More Dream (copper) Jungkook - Danger (black)
The second thing to be determined was the design of their pelts. I used a number generator for this one as well as the wheel.
I generated numbers between 2 and 7 for each member to decide how many spins they'd get and how many designs/markings would be added to their pelt.
I put different types of markings in the wheel and spun it as many times as each members' generated number instructed. Then I recorded the generated markings.
And lastly, their eye colors needed to be determined, so, I naturally looked up their favorite colors and decided to use those.
Jin - Pink and blue (was pink, now blue) Suga - Silver (white) J-Hope - green and blue (green) Namjoon - amethyst (purple, pink, black) Jimin - blue and purple (blue) Taehyung - Hazel and silver (grey) Jungkook - orange and yellow (yellow)
From there I just used a base I created and designed each member's profile/appearance.
Names: Everyone who's read the series knows there's an entire system based around names for characters. You need to be aware of several things to make an effective, amazing name.
First you need to take in account their appearances. What does the character look like? This has a big impact on the name choices. It wouldn't be fitting for a pure white cat with green eyes to be called Nightflame. It wouldn't make sense if you had a grey cat with blue eyes named Mudstrike.
It makes more sense for the names to correlate with the pelt color and/or the eye color.
But we cannot forget that personality has a big part of the warriors' names (or at least I feel it should). Take for example 'Fireheart' before he became leader. He was known to be courageous and loyal (to a fault). That's why he had the suffix 'heart' (and we all know he had fire as his prefix because he was an orange cat).
So I took into account each members' personality AND appearance to figure out their warrior names, which took a long time since there were many choices.
Suga - Sharpspark Sharpspark was pretty hard to decide on. I was debating between three names; Palefrost, Clovermist, and Sharpspark. Sharpspark fits his appearance a lot more than the other two, so I went with that. The prefix Sharp is for Suga's savage side that we all love. The suffix spark is for many things; his creativity and intelligence. Thus Sharpspark is the perfect name for Suga.
