Soon, I arrived at my Best mate's bedroom. I knocked abruptly and walked in.

"Yo Hashim!" I called, Searching for him. He wasn't there. I left his room, closing the door behind me. This is going to be harder than I thought! I sighed heavily. And we are running out of time! I ran down every coridoor, calling his name, then glanced at my watch. An hour and 20 minutes left, Daimian! I told myself, Worried. We could postpone the escape... But that wasn't an option for me. I stopped abruptly and entered the dining room.

"HASHIM!" I Yelled, Relieved, as I saw him sitting on a chair, stuffing his face with apple pie. I sighed heavily.

"I've been looking everywhere for you!" I suddenly lowered my voice,

" Great escape! 7:00pm! Carlys Roo-"

"Carly? Oh not her!" He butted in angrily.

"Yes her. Are you coming?"

"Well... Ok then, I guess." He sighed heavily. "Should I get food?" He inquired.

"Ummm.... Yes, Ok.. But make sure you pack your rucksack and get dressed for 7:00..." I said wearily.

"You can count on me, Sergant!" He grinned and gave me a swift salute, before running off towards the fridge. I just hoped one thing... No-one would catch us.

"Come in!" Carly hissed from inside her room. I opened the door.

"Hi Carls!" I smiled at her. "You got everything?" I asked.

"Yes, Of course! Emily's got her food...  I have my clothes... And we both have our toothbrushes, Of course!" She seemed prepared.

"Umm... OK.... You do realise we aren't exactly staying in a 5 star resort, Right?" I Asked her uncertainly, gestering at all her luggage. "We only need esentials, Darling. You have to carry it all, You know!" Her face fell again.

"Alright then. I won't bring all this," She said sharply, grabbing a rucksack from her pile. "Just this. My clothes, Emily's food." She picked up her spaniel lovingly. "Let's go then honey!" She said happily to me. As if on cue, Hashim walked in.

"Hi Dai! What's up?" He beamed happily. All he had was a rucksack and a flakmak bag. His smile dissapeared when he saw Carly standing next to her luggage. He nodded briefly at her and said,

"Hey" He looked like he would murder her if she said anything wrong.

"Hey" She replied cautiously. Emily barked.

"WOAH! GET THAT ***** MUTT AWAY FROM ME!" Hashim yelled, taking a quick step away from her. Emily bared her teeth. "AHHHRGH!!! THAT FLIPPING RAT ISN'T COMING!" He yelped loudly as Emily jumped out of Carly's arms and approached him. One thing: Hashim HATES Emily. He hates all dogs, basicly.

"Come on guys" I led them out of carly's room and to the attic, Hashim was screeching his head off, running infront of me. I laughed. "Shut it Hashim! You'll wake the Orphans!" I chuckled and Hashim went silent, though he still kept his distance from Emily.

"Are we leaving through the window?" Carly asked, shocked. I smiled as we reached the old attic and opened the hatch to the window which no-one had used since a boy fell out and died 6 years ago.

"We have no choice!" I grinned bravely as I leaped through the window, Out into the darkness.
