Michael's POV ~ Few weeks later
After Julie woke up from the couch, she and I planned a date.
She thinks camping is good, I disagree. Do you know what things are out there?
She said birdwatching, I didn't agree. You just watch birds and wait for them to probably shit on you.
Then we both finally agreed on a road trip to North Carolina, there is a private beach.
~~~~Julie continues packing, "Can't wait! How long are we staying?" She asked, excited.
"3 days." I say, reading a book.
She looks at me, "Are you really that rich?"
I chuckled, "You can say that."
I turn a page in the book and she goes back to folding, "Then how much?"
I look up, "Huh?"
"How much to you have?"
I close the book, "I actually don't know. All I know is I probably have a billion."
She turns around, sitting on the bed, "How did you get a billion?"
I stand up and start walking over to the bed, "Well," I sit next to her, "I made a deal with Diana," Julie says nothing but just stared at me, "Of course, I traded something that I never lose and I was afraid to lose."
"What was it?"
"Well, I had to lose my virginity to her. I didn't want to but I needed the money."
"What was the money for?"
"To spend for my family."
"So in order to get money, you had to have sex with her?"
"Yep and I was barely in my hundreds."
"That is still old,"
I chuckle, "She was like 700 something and I was barely in my age; it's like fucking an 45 year-old and I was the 18 year-old."
Julie makes a disgusted face, "Ew. Now, I feel bad for you."
I shake my head at her reaction, "Anyway, I probably still have a million." I said, getting up and put my book on the bedside table.
"Can we move?" Julie asked.
I turn around and face her, "Why? Isn't my house is nice and cozy?"
I cross my arms and lean on a wall in the room, she gets up and walks over to me, "We can have a bigger house, probably in the woods."
*You love those woods, don't you?*
"You really wanna live in the woods?"
"It's beautiful out there, Michael."
"Literally," I point at the front of the house, looking at the door for a minute, "the woods are right in front of our house."
She grabs my hands, "I know but please? After our mini vacation?" She gives me her puppy eyes and pokes out her bottom lip.
I roll my eyes and shake my head at her cute begging expression, "Fine," I sigh, "we could look at houses after."
~Next day~
I felt someone rubbing my shoulder, I turn over and see Julie.
I rub one of my eyes, "Hey, what's wrong?" I ask her.
"No-thing, we have almost an hour to get ready." She groans with her head falling back on her pillow.
I rub my eyes and sit up, her hand falls off of my shoulder; she sits up and lays on my shoulder, I chuckle, "We gotta get up before we lose our flight, Julie."
"I know."
She gets off my shoulder and gets out of bed, I also get up and walk to my dresser; she walks into the bathroom. I put on a white button-up, black pants, and my penny loafers; Julie walks out of the bathroom with her hair down and wavy.
She walks over to her side, grabbing a yellow flowers dress and black flats; I grab my sunglasses and grab my black duffel bag, I look at my phone, "Julie, it's 7:20. Our flight leaves at 8." She turns around, picking up her bag; she walks to me, I take her bag as she was struggling.
"I could've gotten it there." She groans.
"You look tired."
She rubs her eyes, "I'm not."
I chuckle, "Come on, let's hurry before I have to walk to North Carolina."
We walk downstairs, "Did you bring what you need? Did you forget anything?" I asked her as we walked out into the morning sky.
She closes the front door behind us, "Probably a jacket but I think I'll survive without one." I put the suitcases on my wrists and pick her up bridal style, she wraps her arms around my neck as she crossed her legs; within a second, we were there. I put her down and we walk into the airport.
Both of our passports in hand, we give them to the ticket counter then head on the plane; but the only thing why I hate being on planes is because of other people's minds.
I give my ticket to the flight attendant and surprised Julie with first class, she has never been on a plane or in first class; the flight attendant showed us to our first class seats right next to each other.
I put the bags away as Julie sat in her seat, analyzing the whole first class; I giggle as she looks around, "You good?"
I sit next to her and she grabs my hand, "I'm nervous."
She blushes in embarrassment and looks away from me, I lick my lips from dryness, "Julie, it's gonna be fine. I was nervous on my first flight."
She looks at me, "Really?"
I nod, "Yep."
~~
(An: ok, I'ma end this chapter short since I've never been on a plane because I'm afraid of heights and while writing this, I got nervous myself 😬 Anyway have a good night/day.){PS: I'm going camping so I won't post tomorrow}
