Michael's POV
"Julie," I look down then at her again, "what happened in your childhood?" I ask Julianna as I sit next to her on the bed. As she frowned, I quickly said, "You don't have to tell---" But she cut me off before I finished.
"My family was like any other family; nice, kind, caring. Until my parents pass away in a 'car accident', it happened when I was 9." She quoted with her fingers as she slowly looked at me again.
"You think it was a vampire?"
She nods, "I don't know who or what it was."
"I'm sorry for your loss; I didn't know you're childhood can be ruined by a vampire or natural causes."
She looks away, "Yeah."
"And now a vampire is trying to make it better."
"Before you came into my life, I started drinking at the age of 18," My lips slightly part as she looks at me, "my brother gave me tons of bullshit at 20 after I clean up myself," I place my hand on her knee, "and also at 18, I used to cut myself."
My eyes slightly widened, "You tried to commit?"
She nods looking away from me again, "After my parents died, it went downhill from there."
I look away from her, regretting to ask, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."
She moves and I quickly look at her as she sits on top of my lap, I lay my hands on her thighs; her hands were on my shoulders, "It's okay; you wanted to know."
I look into her eyes, "I mean to bring up the past, Julie. I didn't want you to remember those bad times in your past."
She rolls her eyes and presses her lips on to mine; I close my eyes as I fell into her kiss.
She presses down on my shoulder and falls back on the bed with our lips still connected; she pulls away, biting her lip and tucking a hair behind her ear, "I just said, 'you wanted to know', Michael."
"Yeah, then after I explained you kissed me; like this."
I press my lips on hers and push on to the bed, earning a giggle from her; she wraps her arms around my neck and I grab her thighs, rubbing them. My hands trail up to her waist, I squeeze lightly; she pulls away, sucking air through her teeth.
I quickly remove my hands, "I forgot."
She giggles, "I think we both did."
We both laugh and I start to pull away but she stops me, "Don't let go, Michael. I want you to hold me..."
"Heh, I'm laying down in bed, sweetie." She unwrapped her arms and got up, going over to her side of the bed and getting in the blankets. I jump into bed after taking off my T-shirt, Julie scoots closer to me, placing her hand on my bare chest; I wrap my arm around her, pulling her closer to me.
I place my hand on top of hers, "You never told me all the things about you, except your childhood." I say.
"Well, what do you know about me?"
"I know that you like to drink water, soda, and wine; you love chicken. Your favorite colors are turquoise and black, and some of your hobbies are reading, listening to music, and drawing."
"Or painting."
I nod, "Yeah, or painting."
"You know half of me."
I look at her, "Anything else I should know about you?"
"Well, I was born June 25, 1991. My full name is Julianna Sara Clarkson,"
*I love that name.*
"In school, I was always the odd man out. I was bullied but my brother always came to help, until 20. My parents, before they died, let my Grandma live over there and gave me the house. And I think that's it, you came in after all that." She looks up at me, smiling; I smile back, "Anything you want to tell me?"
She asked me, I look up and think, "I actually don't know; I had mortal memories in the past but I only that my heart stopped at 30 to 31."
"You only know that?"
"Yeah, and now all about you."
"Wait, so you're 934, right?"
"Yeah."
"So your heart stopped in an old time."
"Yeah, my heart stopped in 1084," her jaw dropped, "it happened on my birthday too; it was a life-changing present." She closes her mouth, giggling a little.
"So when's your birthday?" She asks.
"August 29, 1053."
"Wait, that means you were a slave?"
"Sadly, no."
"What do you mean 'Sadly, no'? You," I frown and look away from her, "weren't a slave but- wait- oh Michael, I am so sorry."
I sigh, "It's fine but you are right," I look at her again, "I am lucky to not deal with that but my family members went through that and I couldn't do anything about it."
"I'm sorry, Michael."
"Don't apologize, you didn't think about it at first."
"But I am sorry for not thinking about it first," she rubbed her hand on her face, "I'm so stupid."
I grab her hand, "You're not; you're not stupid at all."
She looks at my chest and let's go of my hand; stroking up and down with her fingers over my six-pack and chest, "Michael, I've done some stupid shit in the past."
I push her on the bed, holding her by her back, "Why are you calling yourself stupid? You're not stupid."
She looks away from my gaze, "But I am saying the truth."
"Yes, you're saying the truth. Look, Julie," she looks at me, "everyone and everything makes mistakes."
"What do you mean 'everything'?"
My eyes ponder around, "Like animals and I really don't know about bugs- but yeah."
"Heh, Michael, I meant for example; like how animals make mistakes."
I slightly blush, "Oh, that's what you meant. Ok," I look back at her, "animals, for example, they walk in the wrong direction and they get shot."
We both look at the TV, "Do you wanna watch a movie?" She asks.
We both look at each other, "Sure." I reply, letting go of her hand and grabbing the remote on the bedside table.
