Xavier's POV

Faith had finally calmed down as we got closer to home. I know I scared her badly with that stunt but I need her to know to take me seriously. I don't even why she was crying that bad. It was just a fucking hickey, not like I've taken her virginity...yet. That is if the little snack is a little miss virgin. I smirked at the thought. Damn, I really need to stop thinking about such things. Only a distraction from work anyway. But anyways, I can't let her go back to her stupid Nona because I want her here. Besides, she knows what I look like. No one knows what I can possibly look like. It would be a huge dumb risk to let her go. She could ruin my gang business.

I looked to the now-sleeping beauty. Her skin was bruised a bit too much. Okay so I kind of forgot to go gentle not that I can anyway. The softer the skin was the more I was determined to destroy it. Plus her sweet smell didn't help- her in this case.
We reached home and I put my Bugatti in Park. Just in time for lunch at least.
Faith woke up when the car came to a stop. She rubbed her eyes and looked at me before attempting to open the door but I still had it on child-lock. She looked at me confused as to why I wouldn't let her out. At this point, I knew she was desperate to get away from me.

"Faith, we're having lunch with my family. I want you on your best behavior like a polite guest." I commanded.
She rolled her eyes - " I don't know guests were forced to stay"
As much as I wanted to slap the shit out of her. I decided to keep my calm so she won't be a crying mess when ma meets her. Ma is my dear grandmother whom I could do anything for. I would put everything I have on the edge of a cliff if I had to for her and her only.
I took her wrist and pulled her towards me before leaning down to place soft kiss on her dark hickey, making her shiver and try her hardest to pull away.

"I think you're forgetting something, darling" I said. "OUT!" I yelled at her making her jump in her seat as I immediately unlocked all doors.

She followed behind me as I took her inside my expensive bungalow. She should consider herself lucky in fact. I let her wrist ago as she sat right next to me. Ma joined us and so did my brother-like men. I smiled at ma and she smiled back, frowning when she noticed Faith.
"Who might you be?" Ma asked. Faith smiled and attempted to answer when I cut her off.
"Ma this is Faith. Our guest for a few weeks." I couldn't let her say anything else. It would just be stressful for Ma if she found out that I've bought a girl because... I simply wanted to.
" Faith.." I tightened my jawline and I knew I had her full attention. "..this is my grandmother" she nodded and smiled.
"Nice to meet you...Ma." I rolled my eyes. Only I can call my Ma-  Ma.

"Oh the pleasure is all mine dear. We haven't had a guest in a long time. I get lonely sometimes since Xavy is always on missions." Ma said. "So how do you happen to know my grandson ?"

Faith's POV

I felt a tight squeeze on my thigh, almost making me wince in pain. He didn't want me to tell the truth to his Ma. I don't why he is hiding it from her but he was. I pushed his hand off before speaking up.
" I-I met him a few months ago and we became friends instantly. As kind as he is, he's letting me stay here for a few weeks until I get a place of my own." I smiled, making Xavier smirk.
However, He might not have payed attention but I felt like his grandmother didn't buy that story. She looked at me a few times in confusion as if she's trying to figure out what this actually is.

I sat in Xavier's room after lunch as he showered in peace. I hope the water is all cold and icy. He told me to stay put on the bed or else so I did. I'm not stupid. I'm not trying anything without planning it brilliantly.
In a few minutes, he came out with only his joggers on. I accidentally blushed at the thought and scene of me with a shirtless guy in the same room.
